It states that it is compatible with any DLNA device, I am assuming the phone is a DLNA device.

Shoot, I just looked up iPod integration and user manuals only to see woot already had them in the item description. You're stepping up your game woot.

This system is basically an Apple TV with no outputs and some tinny speakers for $80 extra. I have an Apple TV and it is worth its weight in gold for the Airplay functionality alone, but I don't see the use case for this device, except in a location where you don't have a receiver or a TV and you just want the Airplay functionality.

I think that I would rather have a $35 Logitech wireless audio receiver and hook it up to the speakers I already have. Except that the Logitech just does bluetooth and not wifi.

This product seems to assume all your music is in Apple formats, ipods, itunes, etc. I guess it is for millions of people.

It would have been nice if it had a slot for CDRW-MP3 discs for those times when my daughter looses her iPod privileges.

You missed it, a short while ago they sold some ipods. It sure was a shock to us, trying to figure out what kind of invisible product they were trying to sell us.

I wonder if it sounds better than the iluv speakers I bought last week...

The WD TV Live is the only thing that comes close to Apple TV functionality, please do your research before making useless posts.
