And for dessert, spread peanut butter on the tortilla, drizzle on a helping of semisweet chocolate morsels, and roll up tight... MMM mmm good.

It's beautiful. You got a really big tortilla and shape it like a bowl, then you just fill it with awesome stuff. Then you can eat the bowl! It's like a taco but with about 20 times more stuff and plenty of shell to eat when YOU want it. I can only assume the reason it isn't on the poll list is because it is so awesome it wouldn't be fair to the other foods.

I can't believe chimis are at the bottom! It's just a fried burrito people, that instantly makes it better than a burrito! :P

Beef taquito? Now I see why they are difficult to find on menus. This survey really is "what is your favorite Tex-Mex tortilla food. Burrito was something dreamed up in Texas.

Vietnamese tacos (can it be a steamed bread shell?) if it can't be the right shell, then probably fajitas.

Hot freshly roasted green chili peppers w/cheese! (pepper jack, mexican blend or any kind you want - yummmmmmy)

You can put just about anything in a tortilla. Don't limit yourself to fatty Taco Bell menu items.

My favorite lunch is a vegeburger, greens and tomato in a tortilla.

Stuff anything in a tortilla -

Indian: Chicken tikka masala
Greek: gyro meat, tzatziki, lettuce and tomatoes
Italian: Sausage and peppers
Jewish deli: Corned beef, sauerkraut and thousand Island dressing
Middle eastern: Falafal, tahini, lettuce and tomato.
Upstate NY: Buffalo chicken strips, blue cheese
Nawleans: Blackened shrimp or fried oysters
and Cali: spring mix, sprouts, tofu and non-fat vinaigrette

I like to use a flour tortilla to make an extra thin, super crispy pizza crust.

There is a Mexican place in Tucson that makes Burros. Like burritos, but as big as your thigh. Each plate comes with a doggie bag.
