Where's that cool robot from "Lost in Space"??

And what about Rosie from "The Jetsons"? I keep hoping to find a housekeeper robot like Rosie on W00T, but so far, you guys have let me down.

Sgt. Yoyonovic from "Holmes & Yoyo" or "Future Cop." Loved me some '70s police androids!

Bender may be great, but he never waxed poetic regarding his pet's sub-vocal oscillations,
a singular development of cat communications
that obviates [her] basic hedonistic predilection
for a rhythmic stroking of [her] fur to demonstrate affection.

I vote Optimus Prime from the original THE TRANSFORMERS animated series.

1st runner up would be Cameron (the Terminator played by Summer Glau in TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNER CHRONICLES).

2nd runner up goes to Data from STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION.

This was from a *movie*, not a TV series. Which case there would be a myriad of other choices.

As others have pointed out, the best TV robot is the "B9" robot from the TV show "Lost In Space."

It should also be noted that the "Buck Rogers" robot Twiki actually carried around the robot "Dr. Theopolis" hanging from his neck (and that appeared to be his primary purpose beyond comic relief).

For everyone that like the Cylons from Battlestar Galactica, the only function they had was a creepy red scanning eye and say "by your command."

Looks like my first instinct was that of so many others:
DANGER! DANGER, WILL ROBINSON!

Oh, and HM for the Futurama gang. Let me mention Calculon. And Robot Cop. Awww, yeah.

The "Larson Scanner." It was reused by Glen Larson in Knight Rider.
