Who said fluoride and minerals were healthy for our bodies to ingest? In fact, many people are now disputing the uses of fluoride in dental health procedures and in water treatment due to an increase of unhealthy side effects (especially in children), caused by overexposure to fluoride.

Has anyone ever been fluoride deficient?

Looks good, ordered two pairs. Too bad these aren't the insulated ones, but I can just get the sleeves from Amazon I guess.

If you are in the market for yet another water bottle, these are a really good price. I was in a sporting goods store today and saw the exact same bottle for $23.99 each

Oh my your kidding...That is why it is required and approved it's poison? Atleast in this part of Country tap water is just fine and taste great. People have been drinking to much of that kool aid people dish out...

I tried them with my MAC. They didn't work. Then my MAC didn't work anymore either.

If you really think this "filters impurities" you are sadly mistaken. This filter is simply designed to improve the taste of the water. The tap water you fill it with is filtered far more effectively than the "filtering" this can provide. Anything that gets past the professional water purification systems used most anywhere will not get removed by this filter.

Yeah I saw one for $100 but if I bothered to shop around I can find it for $15 at my local retail store and even less when a sale is active.

Yeah.... because the government has never made impulsive decisions without thinking of the consequences and they definitely don't make mistakes, right?

I think you need a little more Kool-Aid.

After I hit the order button I had an epiphany that I should have ordered 4 bottles, one for each of my kids. Duh. Anyone know how to add another set of water bottles to my already existing order?

??? This comment makes no sense. We use the Camelbak Better Bottles (http://camelbak.com/Sports-Recreation/Bottles/Better-Bottle-75L.aspx) exclusively for water. I emailed Camelbak with photos of the broken lids and they were gracious enough to send replacements.

Step 1: Type 'Better Bottle' into google
Step 2: Click link for the first result
Step 3: Get upset and self righteous that someone is scamming CamelBak & post about it on Woot.
Step 4: Click the link for the SECOND google result; Realize your mistake.
Step 5: ??feel dumb?? (I know I would)

Amazed at how quickly I got these (ordered Sunday, received Tuesday) and at how effective they are.

We got rid of our community water cooler at work and I had been drinking Phoenix tap water if I didn't bring in my plastic disposable bottles. These things work really well. Eliminates the tap water taste to the point that it's indistinguishable from the bottled water I usually drank. And getting two of them means I can rotate them in the fridge and have it cooled.

Good job woot, just wish I had grabbed more than just the two, and I will if i see them up again.

This was a great purchase for me. I regularly find myself hoping at 11:59PM, the next days deals will somehow end up saving me money. While ninety percent of what I see is much lower than average cost, and sometimes ridiculously low, I can't force myself to purchase it as I don't have a need for whatever that item may be.

I've purchased four items from Woot : A Leatherman freestyle knife; an Invicta watch; I can't even remember my first purchase...a two for Tuesday filtered water pitchers (both of which are in the possession of former roommates), and these Camelbak filtered water bottles. I've enjoyed anything I've purchased from Woot, but these water bottles (after a week of use) have already fulfilled their money's worth.

My workplace doesn't have easy access to tap water, and the taste is awful anyway, so I always end up purchasing a bottle of water, or drinking something unhealthy like Coke or Red Bull. I haven't purchased a single drink since I unwrapped these amazing bottles. My mind is at ease knowing it produces clean, fresh tasting water; it's easy to refill; has a non-drip design; and instead of having to lean back and focus my attention every time I want a drink, I just pick it up and aimlessly shove the spout towards my face which eventually finds my mouth, then bite and sip. The last sentence finished off describing an incredibly lazy way of drinking, but hey, sometimes it's nice to keep focus on my work rather than take a 5 second break every time I'm parched. In fact, every now and then I'll take it a step further in laziness, reaching my face towards the spout, then sip it like a 5 year old drinks through a straw without having to pick up the bottle at all! It's a close third in easiest way to attain liquid, after IV's and nursing.

What I'm trying to get at, is the bottles are a great purchase. It mentions to replace the filter after three months (assuming you refill it 3-4 times a day), so overall I'm going to "milk" these for all they can withstand.

I'm sure they're great for rock climbers too, the lid has a clip-on design that would work perfectly with a carabinar.

I am SO excited about these water bottles. I bought them a little while ago and have been using one for a couple of weeks or so. (I gave the other one to my husband.) They are everything I have ever dreamed of! You don't understand! I go through water bottles like crazy! It's nearly impossible to find one that both doesn't leak and that I don't constantly spill all over myself! I can hold it upside-down with the top popped up or down in place and not a drip comes out! And it's a straw! So I don't spill it all down my shirt when I drink it! It's, like, clumsy-proof!!! I didn't even notice the filter when I bought it! Oh, I was so excited when it arrived and I saw the filter! Ask anyone I know - I'm like that little girl in Signs. The water here is supposed to be some of the best in the country, but it still freaks me out. I won't ever drink it straight from the tap. Sometimes filtering takes too long when you're rushing out the door and usually I just end up not drinking water. This doesn't happen anymore!!! It's amazing!!! Oh, I really love this thing. You don't understand.
