The price takes into account the shipping. Would you be happier if it were $10 with $1 shipping? This is not new. Shipping is always $5 and the price is adjusted.

You may have even seen some items that cost 1 cent +$5 shipping.

I just got my package today. How is that possible?

Note: I recieved 3 bags of 6 packages containing 2 each. Thats only 36. The description clearly says packages of 24, so times 3 = 72. Woot: am I getting another package?

They definitely short changed us by half, I wouldn't have even noticed for awhile if I didn't count them since I was going to just put them away for my sisters grad party

These were shipped out during the wootoff... record time, woot! I should be getting mine by tomorrow!

First response from woot basically told me I don't know how to count. 6 times 2 times 3 = 36, not 72.

EDIT: Okay, after that email and me telling them it was only 36 sticks they sent me a second email saying they were going to send a second order to give me but instead of just the 36 they're sending me 48 so I get an extra 12 glow sticks for the trouble. So woot has redeemed itself in my opinion. It was a bit disappointing to have my first order messed up.

I received my shipment but there were only half the amount of glow-sticks in it. I ordered 3 of the 24-count and I got 3 packs but they only have 12 in each pack, not 24.

Anyone else have this problem. I already sent an email to service.

On the plus side, is anyone pleasantly surprised at how quickly these were delivered?

Just a reminder that these were 2-packs. If you ordered 1 set and received 12 packs, that is correct, as each pack has 2 glow sticks inside.

1 box containing

3 plastic bags, each plastic bag containing

6 foil wrappers, each foil wrapper containing

2 glow sticks.

So, in my case, I ordered three woots, but each plastic bag only had six 2-packs in it.

I suspect the way woot meant to package these were plastic bags with twelve 2-packs in each.

You're correct, there should have been 12 foil wrappers - per quantity ordered. If you haven't already, email us and we'll get you taken care of. Sorry about that!

Despite the mix up with them packing a bunch if not all people's sets with only 6 packs in each set instead of 12, year I was really surprised how fast they shipped it, bought at 1 am (eastern time) on the 24th and arrived on the 26th, much faster than I expected. I wonder how long my Bunnies Ogling Carrots will take. My second woot, the speakers on the 25th is supposed to take until the 2nd according to FedEx, so not nearly as fast as the Glow Sticks arrived but still not bad either.

Ditto here on only receiving half. I sent an email to support. I don't think I would have ordered 36 for $11 (shipped), but 72 for $11 was a good deal.

That is exactly what I received also. Thankfully it is also on the packing slip as

"Qty 3 - Item Glow bars and hangars, 2 piece per package, 6 packages, 4in long, Orange, yellow, red, blue green, purple"

3 x 2 x 6 = < 72

Glad to see others have been shorted, well, not really, but YKWIM, and that the problem is being corrected. Anyone know when the remaining items will be shipped? I need these for an event.

So...... this means that I unfortunately paid $6.99 for 36 glow sticks (.19/ea); clearly not the deal I was promised when I ordered 72 for $10.97 (.15/ea). I would have never ordered 36 for $6.99. Feeling very much bait-and-switched.

I didn't get my package until today, and sadly I too was left with half as many glowsticks as I ordered. Now I don't have enough for my project!

Edit: Since Woot doesn't appear to have any more left, if you need more there's a seller on a certain auction site that is selling them 24 at a time for $7.99 including shipping. Search for Darice Glow Bars (including descriptions). It'll cost more than Woot, but at least you won't get your legs broke because you couldn't deliver the glowy goods.

I didn't count the sticks in my original order, but just now I received a mysterious Woot email with a tracking number for a "replacement order." Don't know what that's about, but checking on this thread I now learn that maybe they're starting to send out more glow sticks.

I'm not at home right now to recheck how many glow sticks I originally got. As far as why I think this unanticipated new order is about glow sticks, I only bought two woot-off items and the other one is fine.
