I personally think they purposely don't process PayPal transactions during Bunnies Ogling Carrots offerings. Same thing happened to me last Woot-Off as well....

Reading the comments it looks like a lot of first time baggers this round which is awesome! If woot did the soldout thing on purpose (as apposed to ever suicidal servers crapping out) to trick the "bots" and such it seems to have worked wonders. Keep it up woot regardless!

I got one using paypal. But I do remember seeing people say credit card/debit card was supposedly faster to process. No idea if that was indeed fact but have seen people say it several times. But just wanted to point out that paypal also works if you can appease the woot server gods it seems ;).

Boooo ... I was out to lunch .. hopefully they'll be another round of Bunnies Ogling Carrots before this miserable woot-off ends.

I'm not sure if they planned it that way, or if someone just did the steps backward, but since they are using the same offering in order to prevent someone getting more than 1 during the woot off, (I am guessing) there are two steps they have to follow. They have to list the item, and they have to increase the amount available. So this time it was listed before the amount available was increased, which led to it appearing sold out at first. If it was intentional in order to avoid auto-buy bots, then good show. Whatever the reason, I am now the proud purchaser of my 2nd Bunnies Ogling Carrots in 5 years (my first being from the last woot off). I definitely like this new method of splitting the offering in to smaller offerings at unpredictable times.

10th Barrel of Crops in a little over two years of trying (I used Paypal as well). The last one was pretty darn good for me (I love the bluetooth speaker for the car/bike/etc. I got), so high hopes for this one as well...

I got a Barrel of Crops today and I used PayPal. I only had to enter in my Woot password since I already set up my Woot-to-PayPal billing info.

I just scored a Bunnies Ogling Carrots using Paypal - It helps to have Woot pre-approved w/Paypal so you don't have to deal with logging into Paypal during the crucial buying frenzy.
