I know the feeling, I have turned so many once good, innocent folks onto woot. Now I see them sporting daily shirts, always asking me how I manage to get the Bunnies Ogling Carrots & how I know it is coming etc... One coworker has gotten 3 now and a friend was able to snag one as well. We also do many orders of multiple things to save on shipping. someone orders and we split the difference of the order total.

I just noticed today is the 5th year anniversary of my 1st Woot! purchase! 72 purchases later and Woot is literally still the first thing I check on my phone each morning before I get out of bed. (I may have a problem.)

I can honestly say that I've been very blessed to have had the chance to purchase multiple bags of crap over the last 5 years. The first bag I snatched was on 6/1/07! While each one has been a very exciting experience and I've always been able to do something with the craps, I've yet to get one of the 'wow' bags that a few lucky ones each time post pictures of. Maybe waiting for a bag during my 5th anniversary is my lucky time?

Regardless, here's to the next five years! I'll certainly be sticking around for a while more.

We should form a support group. We coulld have random almost monthly meetings. Admission to the meeting would require spending $8.00 on an almost impossible to get randomly appearing item. Once you've paid your admission fee you gain access to an online forum with people from all over the country with varying levels of the affliction.

Well, the wife couldn't hold out to see if our Bushel Of Cotton had a Dyson vac, so we pulled the trigger on the DC25 on woot!VIP today.

I'll replace my wish with the Dyson fan on woot! today ... she'll never let me splurge for one of those ... but they are too cool.

Woke up & checked my email, everything I ordered in the Woot-Off has shipped except my Bunnies Ogling Carrots Perhaps we will start getting tracking or emails as early as Monday or Tuesday.

Does anyone have a Roku box? My dad has all his CDs rippe to his pc but then he burns them to cd to play them on his stereo. I want to get him a streamer, but it's an 18 hour drive to his house so I need something easy to set up. I need it to be so easy it makes PnP look like quantum physics.

Is there someone easier than Roku? AppleTV is not an option

I got a veebeam in the January wootoff. It is a usb dongle that plugs into your computer and wirelessly transmits to a device hooked up to your TV or receiver. I had trouble with my firewall at first and tech support was less than stellar (located in England, weird business hours).

I'm hoping my scaffolding has something to do with monkeys. After the woot-off was over, I told my wife I'd done something bad. Her first response? "Does it involve Woot! Monkeys?" She knows me too well. I bought 3. :-P

I'd also really enjoy some outdoor equipment. Wife is recovering from a serious, long-term illness, and we're just getting back into woodsy stuff. Both of us are East Texas backwoods kids, so being stuck inside for most of the last four years has been rough, and we've lost much (actually most) of our hiking and camping equipment, either due to neglect or it "walking away" from our storage, and we're constantly broke, so it's hard to replace a tent or camp cooking equipment with the little left over at the end of the month. Backpacks or sleeping bags or tents or something would really be awesome.

Honestly, though, I'm just excited to "get to play" as they say.

I don't know about the other things people have recommended, but I do that with a Roku and a free server/app called Plex.

You install the server on the computer with the music/video/photos/whatever, and you install the app on the Roku from their store. It's pretty easy to set up and use.

I update it when I remember. For this one I've been moving my home office down to the basement so all I have is an iPad to work with. Editing the signature field doesn't work well on it.
