Thank You Colonel Crap for my Letter! I've been Hopping, Waiting, Watching, Buying, and Praying to the Woot Gods since January 2006 for a woot letter.

Then like a angle from above. You sent me my letter.

You made my night!

Okay..... I fibbed. My 2.6lb. Bundles of Clones contained the usual and mostly unusable crap:

-- 1 tiny women's bunny tee shirt
-- 2 4-packs of AA batteries
-- 1 little digital camera
-- 2 table top tripods
-- 1 bright green reusable bag
-- 1 galaxy tablet leather cover
-- 5 bags of air

I'm an oldtimer, I still have a bunch of vinyl records flying around
Some are so obscure that they were never put on CD...

But to the Woot gods: don't get any weird ideas. I have no need for an 8-track player ;)

But without an 8-track player you can't experience the joy of a track change in the middle of a song... Obviously planned. It would be wrong to not have that gap!

Brick of Carbonite contents

Green bag purple flowers
2 cup sip toppers
1 4 pack double A's
1 9 volt battery
1 2006(?) Super Cow stuffed animal
1 women's xl big bad wolf barbeque tee
1 perfect turkey thermometer
2 head bands (for washing your face so you don't mess up your hair)

Aaaand, the crap report.

Two 4-packs of Sanyo AA batteries
Two table-top tripods
One Gwen's Nest green and purple tote
One Galaxy Tab 7" leather cover
One Bell and Howell mini digital camera kit
One women's XL green koala t-shirt that looks more like a small kids size.

No letter, no Woot bag, but a decent collection of crap ;) And I can use one of the tripods for a netcam, and batteries are always welcome. Niece gets the 'T', another gets the tote, and the rest will aid local charities.

Or the opposite: I will never accept "Pigs on the Wing pts. 1 & 2" as anything other than one song. No matter how much time passes, no matter how many versions of that album I own or see or hear on the radio. I still have my original 8-track of Animals and it's clearly labeled.

My Bucket of Cookies arrived today. I got

one leather cover for a Kindle (and I was hoping for that; I have a Kindle Fire & this looks nice)

one T shirt, large

one flowered tote

one MooFlower Plush, an incredibly nifty cow toy that I'm still laughing about, many hours after I opened the pkg.(It's not a cow toy for a cow the way my cat toys are toys for my cat. In case you wondered.)

Well played, Woot!

Thank you SO much, woot!

Here's what we received:

green and purple reusable tote bag
Cyber Acoustics leather case for a Galaxy Tab
2 Sanyo 9v batteries
women's small (teeeeeeny tiny) Triage shirt
2 Snap Straws
and... Kelty Camp Carton!

We'll use the Kelty camp carton for road trips this summer. The kids took the snap straws with subdued joy. With use by dates of 2015, I'm sure the batteries will get used eventually. The tote bag will be added to my grocery shopping stash of reusable bags. But I have no clue about the leather case or the t-shirt.

If anyone has a men's L or women's XL tee they want to swap for mine, let me know!

*Editing to add that my box was 3 lbs.

Got mine! The 1lb box with Tron, and a second box at 3.8 pounds. Contained

1 Woot anniversary t-shirt xl (think it's women's xl). Fantastic addition to my woot shirt collection, thank you!

2 tabletop tripods

1 Flu protection kit

1 tube Earl Grey Flowering Teas. Tea and a floral arrangement in one.
Amazon link

1 turkey thermometer

1 microsoft wireless mouse. Very nice quality!

1 click free back-up disk 160Gb

1 black gym style bag.

An excellent haul! Thank you Colonel!

Don't be so sad. I got all the same items except for the wine tote bag. Instead of that I received a ziplock bag full of uncooked purple noodles. I'm not sure if they're safe to eat. O_o

Also, the Bull alone was worth it!!! I really love the Moo-flower one the most, but I can't complain. My love struck, boxer sporting, heel wearing, posable cupid bull is sitting high and proud in one of my living room nooks. The red looks great and he stands out.

I love that record. I'm a fan of PF ever since my older brother got the "A Saucerful of Secrets" vinyl. Seeing them perform "The Wall" live in Berlin after the Wall came down was great!
But PF is the opposite of obscure. Not many people have heard of "Krautrock", e.g. Neu! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neu! or La Duesseldorf https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_D%C3%BCsseldorf.
No chance of getting that stuff on CD.

I think the Colonel had a stroke of genius here...
This signed memorabilia from the Colonel should be considered invaluable. In the future, after the Colonel has moved on and established himself as greatest crap pusher of all time, they may be requesting this letter back to place in the Woot! museum, if one actually exists. This very well could be his signature move.

2 9V Batteries
2 Sipper top things
1 Perfect Turkey thermometer
1 Small t-shirt, Seattle skyline. My son happily took it
1 3D chalk art set. My daughter (15) squealed with joy and ran outside with it. There is now a large chalk drawing that looks 3D-ish if you use the included glasses
1 Bright green reusable bag with a hydrangea on it. Second one of these I've gotten
1 Galaxy tab leather cover.

I am perfectly happy. Thanks for my crops, Woot!

Anyone else distrubed by the fact that the soda pop can straw thingy is for kid "3 and up". Not too early to start that toddler on a steady diet of Coke products. Kid to yound to hold a can, get him a straw where he won't spill his pop.

Enjoyed the letter... "K"

Looking forward to the 76 pounder and even the 28 pound one just mentioned above.

And of course mine which usually arrives a day early (would have been today) seems to be stuck in NEW BERLIN, WI since it arrived there on the 4th.

Also excited that I earned some Quality Posts without them being a video. WIN!!!

24x12x12 box, 8.4 pounds according to FedEx but more like 5 pounds upon arrival.

Usual crap compared to previous posts with one nice addition:

(1) black nylon duffle
(1) girls xl Cake or Die shirt
(1) PlayGear Pocket Skin Kit (10 skins)
(1) Flu & Germ Protection supplies
(2) red snap straws)
(40) Yes 40, bags of Texas air

and the best part...

(1) Island Bamboo BBQ 20x14 Cutting Board Set. Can't include pic but found it for $29.99 on cutleryandmoredotcom. Nice score!

Given that my rations arrived in opened condition, I have dubbed this a Box-Opened-Conspiracy and I think my letter from the Colonel must have been stolen. I'll be looking for my 60" television later this week.

Since my box arrived at my office already opened, I taped it after viewing my rations and took it home for my kids to open. They were far less excited than I had expected but they did discover something I had failed to catch during my previous viewing...

One of the WOOT warriors must have had a cold because he accidentally coughed his honey-lemon cough drop into my box. My daughter found it stuck in the corner. I should add that we are only assuming the flavor of said lozenge since we didn't actually taste it. Maybe it holds the Colonel's DNA. It could be the most valuable item in the box. Then again, it could have come from the wifflehead that opened my box before I received it.

So excited. Yall got some great stuff. I wonder what crap was bestowed upon me! Delivery today in San Antonio, TX 12.1 lbs 24.7x19.7x12.4 (in)(3.5 ft³).

I wanted to shoot a video but my friend who has been unable to snag a bag makes me video call her while I'm opening the box so she can be part of the excitement. She says she is more important than yall lol. I hadnt packed a bag for the guilt trip she took me on when I told her I couldnt call her because I would be recording a video. So yea that being said, photos to follow, no video. Maybe Ill try to increase the quality of the photo by including a pet. I dont have a cat so one of the English bulldogs will have to do.

Also, why no updates for 3 days? Crap, where art though?

So I got my FIRST Baggie of Cocaine (its that addicting) yesterday afternoon and I am very pleased!

My take:

4 Bags of that good ol Texas air (Not pictured)
1 America "Stories of War" Box set
2 Kids size 10 woot t-shirts (No kids but hey I'll figure it out)
1 Woot ? Paper bag
1 Johnson and Johnson First Aid Kit ( I actually almost bought the 2-pack of these Sunday but they sold out)
1 4-pack of AAA batteries

Overall I am completely satisfied with my haul and look forward to many more bags of crap being delivered to my home!
