After further inspection of the used balance bike I got, it was broken. Some of the metal ball bearing thingies (idk im a girl) were at the bottom of the box and a metal ring in the tire assembly was dettached. Guess thats why I got a used balance bike. Seems it was a return.
I thought woot didnt take returns? Did someone pull one over on you woot? You should have directed them over to ebay, or their mom, or someone who cared! Considering they got use out of it, it wasnt broken when they got it so I dont think it should have been a return. It was their problem, but now it's mine. Well WAS my problem anyway! I fixed it! I determined it was the ball thingies were what would hold the metal ring in. Without them it falls out. So I placed them back in the groove and then carefully put the ring back on and fixed! I dont have a toddler but now I have a fixed balance bike and a very happy friend that will take this off my hands for his 3 year old.
I guess its kind of a win/win. The bulldogs are happy it's going. I think they saw my post yesterday about them having to learn to ride it.

My second package arrived today. It is a Tron Fathead and I must say I am very surprised by the sheer size of that thing.

Same Brick of Carbonite as mine except a different shirt. Some funky french hat wearing/dancing crackers.

Does Woot usually make you sign for the Brick of Carbonite? My mailman brought my mail to the door and a delivery slip saying I have to sign for my package and pick it up at the post office.

Not for any I have ever gotten, perhaps something happened to your package and they want you to see it/except it prior to delivery.

I got a similar "short" box. I didn't bother sending an email as I'm not sure that the new owners (Amazon) care as much as days past. This is my 8th Bee-Oh-See in the past 2 years and only the 2nd time I got shorted. Whether it's due to the miss-handling of FedEx Fart-Most or a random mistake by the Woot! packing/shipping monkeys, I take it as the nature of the beast. For me, it's the thrill of the hunt more than the usefulness of the meat. Whatever is left of the carcass after the buzzards and hyenas have had there way I am always thankful for.

yes, but if you email woot, you will get a 2nd entire Bundles of Clones not just one crap. This happened in the January woot off crap. a large bunch of people got shorted, and sent woot an email, and they sent extra Bundles of Clones. This is another reason why woot is awesome.

I received a Flip in a Bundles of Clones a year or two ago and it was not working. I contacted flip, explained how I received it in a Bundles of Clones and the issues I was having.

They ran me through some troubleshoooting exercises and when that didn't work they ended up sending me a replacement and they paid for shipping both ways.

The people I talked to were very nice, I was suprised they sent me a replacement one even though I explained I got it in a Bundles of Clones and only paid $8.00 for the whole thing.
It's worth a shot, the worse thing is they say no.

Well it seems to be working ok but it's possible the battery won't hold a charge long. Too bad there's not a replaceable battery.
