Btw, guys, even though the TV had some pretty obvious wear and tear, its picture and sound are excellent (much better than my previous TV). Coincidentally, Philips is my favorite TV brand, so great selection Woot!

Very nice! I bought a 42" 1080p Philips off of woot! about 2.5 years ago for $500. Still my main TV today and I haven't had a single issue. Congrats!

I was actually hoping ssiemonsma's Bundles of Clones was going to be a pallet of about 100 random items all plastic wrapped together.

As they say in Grumpier Old Men, "Well, you can wish in one hand and crap in the other, and see which gets filled first." In our case it turns out to be crap hand, but isn't that what we are wishing for?

Congrats on the awesome TV! I'm quite jealous =).

There should be a way to flip the video around. I know you can change incorrect aspect ratios by adding special tags, my guess is you can do the same to flip it. Or try editing the video?

If you felt like re-uploading it, you could use a simple free editing program like Windows Live Movie Maker to fix it!

Or just make everyone turn their computers upside down =).

Well, I watched @ssiemonsma's (congrats by the way!) unboxing video and then I realized, what if Woot snuck something into my Mobile DVD Center. Okay, shame on me.. I haven't opened to DVD player yet because I thought... heck, it looks pretty new initially so maybe no surprises in there.. LESSON LEARNED.

And to my surprise, there WAS SOMETHING IN THERE! D:

So like, at first it looked like an unopened player.. but when I checked the DVD slot.. there was a DVD in side it.

What the heck was I watching? I had to close the doors to my room just in case my mom was thinking I was watching something bad on the screen.


And the question boggles me... what would an Ab-lifter DVD be doing in a player that's meant for some place like a car?! LOL.

After seeing (and winning!) today's Brick of Carbonite in the Woot-off, I realized I'd never posted my haul from the last one, so here it is.

Nothing earthshaking, or even mildly unique, but I'm pretty happy with it:

1 Hydrangea re-usable shopping bag
1 Intec WII-G5620 Wii Fit Rechargeable Battery Pack and Cable
1 Jerzee's t-shirt, blue, L (my size!)
1 Kindle case




Demon kitty was not included, he lives here.

The bag goes right into the pile of shopping bags and the shirt will fit and be worn. Maybe I'll print out a Woot "!" on a shirt transfer. We do have a Wii Fit, but it doesn't see much use. The Kindle case will most likely be sold.
