Oh, good - I need a spare to keep on hand in case either of my other ones punk out.
For those with battery problems, you CAN get batteries on line that are about half the price of OEM Roomba batteries, and they work just as well. Expect to get a year or a little more either way before they start to go south. It's just part of the cost of ownership and you have to expect it. The NiMh batteries on your cordless drill don't last forever either, do they?

I miss coming home to clean floors.
I've had a long running love afair with two older Roombas. Sure - the batteries suck, but you can find even better replacement ones on ebay for about $30.
Roombas, like all things we seem to love, die. We coddle them through those temporary circle dances, celebrating when they return to the normal patterns. But after a while they don't get better.
The 530 does not have scheduling, and is a feature I truly loved.
Frankly, another brand has been giving me that come hither look. True - I could own two of these for the price of one of "her".
But once you've loved and lost, perhaps it is time to move on to a younger partner.
