Bought these here for $4.99 recently. They are pretty good, but you get what you pay for. Nothing special.

ok is this a deal or what?

got a pair last time, very let down with the volume of the sound, quality was ok, but was really hoping for something a LOT louder then what these do

Cheap, but I bet you get what you pay for.

I bought a blue set last month when they were up for sale. I am very pleased with the sound. I highly recommend.

I strongly suggest buying 3 for best performance and 6.0 surround sound. Or something like that.

Speaking from experience, no joke, these have great sound...and usually sell later in a w00toff! ...I'd grab a set if I didn't get some two wootoffs ago...defintely worth the grab...unless you are a hater and think that you're too cool to buy these in which case I say fine, make us suffer because we need to get this wootoff moving along...so please do us a favor and buy some...

Must have had only one pair in black.. lol. Hopefully these sell quick. Any bets on when/if the Barrel of Crops is coming?

Because they use the same pics and descriptions from when they were previously selling them. Thats my guess.

I got these during the Woot-off before last and I enjoy them! The red looks very nice. The volume is a fine level for me. It's actually quite loud turned up to max.

Edit: Side note, I am using them for a desktop PC.

Haha, nice. I so would but we are sort of broke this week in my household. I am saving my money for a monkey, Bunnies Ogling Carrots or a more tempting item than speakers. Maybe chocolate.

I still have 4-6 sets of the Dell 5.1's boxed up in storage from many woot-off's ago. They are loud and proud but aging gracefully with the hundred or so other woots I didn't really need

I got them last time. Not impressed and I am far from a snob. I appreciate and like good sounding systems but these are only mnarginally better than my laptop speakers in volume and about on a par with quality.

But for only 2.99..........

I got some of these for my bedroom laptop. Gotta plug em into the wall but they sound okay.

Another upvote here. I got the red ones during the last Woot-Off and was pleasantly surprised.

Great office speakers.

Why the heck not I am in for 3 everyone complains about the volume wire them together with a 3.5 mm adapter and your all set

Bought 3 last time and 3 this time. Great speaker for a no frills system. They work well and look good. I use them for my kids computers so they can hear what they want and I don't have to...

I just bought two of them, and it was the first thing I have ever bought on Woot! But I will celebrate when I get the Bag o' MMMMMMMMMMMMMM

They are rated at 2 1/2 watts but into a 4 ohm load instead of the more typical eight. They are not going to be loud. If you want loud you will need amplified speakers.

Actually pretty decent. Everyone should have a set on the shelf just in case. Never know when yours will die and it's not fun without speakers!
