Woot should up the quantity limit to 4 on these, that way you can get a full set for your dinner guests and watch the confusion on Steak night.

I picked up 2 the last time and I am very pleased. These are very sharp knives that hold their edge well.

Go ahead. Buy a pair.

I stand corrected. That's pretty darn sharp.

On a serious note I really like Kershaw knives. I had an Avalanche with the S30V steel and it was awesome. I gave it to my grandfather not knowing that model was discontinued I have since replaced it with a Leek with slightly lower quality steel but its a good everyday carry knife due to its slim style.

I'll stick to the higher quality knives made in the USA but I'm sure for the price these are great.

In for one compound. These are very sharp and the only way I have been able to restore an edge to the K I own is to use a diamond hone.

Have the 1940, use it almost every day. Retains its edge pretty well. Spring assist opens it nice and quick, and might help dodge some local laws regarding switchblades...

Exactly!
Then, when finished, you don't wash the knife you just wipe both sides of the blade on your jeans, fold the knife up, and leave the room without saying a word. (much to the relief of your uneasy coworkers)

GREAT (but made in China) folding knives. Mine's got a 3" blade, and is a full 5/8" shorter when closed; these are bit too bulky for my purposes.

But if you can deal with the closed length, these are a steel (get it, not "steal" - STEEL ... god, I'm good) at this price. Pounce.

I got one of these last time and (especially for this price!) am very happy with it - in for a couple more for gifts!

They're sharp, seem to hold an edge (so far) and well made.

Hilarious !! But when he goes to stand up he drops the knife on the ground and when he bends over to pick it up the coworkers noticed he is wearing womens thong underwear

I have a Kai/Shun (Kershaw) folding steak knife in VG10 that take when I go out to eat, rather than use those "steak saws" the restaurant gives you.

Git all your gun-totin' knife-throwin' doomsday-preppin' friends to bring their pickup trucks over to yer place, then y'all drive Road Warrior style down to 'Bama. And jes' wait. Congress is workin' on sellin' the South to Mexico. Down there you can shoot 'n' holler all you want! They got real freedom!

NM, I want something with more of a barrier to keep my hand from slipping up the blade. I don't feel like cutting myself.

mace is probably better than a knife, someone has to be pretty close to use it, close enough to where it can be taken from you, mace lets you defend from a distance. I don't think a person/animal would care about you anymore after their face is on fire. while I've never personally been hit directly with mace I've been in a room when some tadpole decided to just sprits it and we all had to leave the room, I can't imagine getting directly hit.

Got mine Saturday... just in time to go camping with it.

The blade seems pretty awesome -- probably the best blade I've had, since all the other knives I've bought have been cheap from Wally World. The "assisted open" is also quite impressive. But the body of the knife is cheap plastic -- it feels like the same stuff that's on a $5 knife that you'd throw away after opening the package on a new knife.

But since I'm not planning to cut anything with the body... I'm a happy Wooter!

Just got mine. Very nice knife, though I agree the plastic casing could be more substantial. Pitiful pocket clip.
