I was hoping these would also be little Etch-a-Sketches, since they are made by the same company.

Having played with a generic air pick before, I can say that they are mildly amusing if only because of how ridiculous they are.

They'd probably be a huge hit at parties where lots of alcohol would also be present.

I can't do "air guitar" as I am hard pressed to think of a way to look stupider (no, it's not a word). I have tried to play Guitar Hero with my son on his xBox360 and suck at it. I do play a real guitar but it doesn't (for me) translate to Guitar Hero.

Only found one review on Amazon. Not good.
Here it is as posted.
What a huge disappointment. Here are the problems --

1. Can't hear it. Volume is set way too low and there's no way to turn it up. No button or dial. Nothing. You're supposed to live with the default.

2. No jack to plug in an external amp source.

3. The effort to "play" a chord is huge. You have to literally shake it very hard. So much for following the rhythm of the song.

These are junk. Ironically, there are some similar picks available at Hong Kong gadget sites that are pretty good. And they have a jack.

How many hours of entertainment will a 2 year old get from one of these?

My guess would be that they are having more luck pushing items through their main page than the kids-woot section?
