Some where way exotic Like Maxwell Alabama and Camp Shelby Mississippi for Officer training in the Air Force.

Multiple camping trips. Long RV road trip. A week in Yellowstone with the grands. Fishing the nearby rivers/lakes. Painting the mountains/wildflowers. Oh, you meant 'vacation,' I was talking 'retirement.'

If by kids, you mean dogs, then yes, I'm taking the kids camping... then maybe a week in BC, and a half a dozen long weekends at the coast. It is rough being child free, I know.

Summer in Wisconsin. Exotic . . . no. But super-cheesy!

As for me, I'm probably not going to get to go anywhere - I've got two conventions (one of which I'm staff for), several events in the works, and well... not in the cards this year.

If I'm lucky, w! will put up another DSLR at some point and I can use that to entertain myself around town with.

hot and humid this year--no more cold vacations

I don't get paid enough for a legit vacation, though I may try to work in a sorta-professional convention thing in late summer.

While I will be camping with the kids this summer (boy scout camp!), my real trip will be a mission trip to Tingo Maria, Peru. It's nice there, but no beach or fruity drinks!
