I bought a similar type of camcorder from Woot back in December, the Panasonic HM-TA2, which I've been very happy with. If they offer the Panasonic HM-TA2 during this Woot-off, you might get that camcorder rather than the Camileo.

I recently bought this on woot. Its laid out like a cell ph and styled much like a Flip. The controls are a bit sticky, they're not too hard to figure out but also I do not consider them intuitive as they could have been. Color coding would had helped a bit, (like a red dot for record)- but you get used to them quickly and its easy enough once you use it for a while. Some nice adjustments for video settings, stabilization, slow mo, resolution, light, motion detect. Battery life is typical for a handheld, probably on par with a Flip. You'll get about 2-3 solid hours use without recharge. It can hold a 64gb sd card, which is very nice as it shoots full hd @ 1080/30 and up to 720/60ft/sec. It also has a small digital lite for shooting in the dark.

Negatives; it has locked up on me a couple times the first time out. Had to take the battery out. The device will not register when plugged in, ie; its not like a camera when its plugged into usb and you can preview your pics or movies. I have only used it once, I have yet to download the software.

Did my part and bought 3. Great for gifts!
