I bet this would work really well with the DrawSomething app. Anyone have experience with this?

I could see this being useful for a fashion designer or artists for turning their sketches into digital form.

At first I thought about Draw Something as well, but from what I can tell it saves as a file and allows you to transfer the file to your PC. Not sure if that would work, but it also does say "Digitize real-time what you write or draw on paper to your iPad/iPhone/iPod". Anybody know?

This is an ultrasonic pen, which means that it won't perform well in noisy environments. I had one for my laptop, and it was impossible to keep it calibrated. That may have been improved at this point.

They first tried making a wireless pencil, but things went bad when someone tried to sharpen it...

if someone would build good iOS image editing software, yeah this could work

But if it works with Photoshop on a mac-n-cheese-n-cheese/PC or Fireworks, we could be in business.

I got one a month or so ago when it was just the daily woot. I liked it, it worked fine, except when not attached to my iPhone. aPen told me to send it back for a replacement, but I had to pay for return shipping. That's BS! I would have paid if it worked perfectly and I just didn't want it. But it was broken! They should pay for return shipping! So, I told them I would post my experience and let people know that their exchange policy is teh sux!

I could be wrong, but I think he is referring to a "regular" pen, what with it being wireless and such.

I checked. Nothing new. All my pens on my desk are wireless. Cheaper too . . .
