For the record, I have never bought a flashlight.(But maybe that's only because I'm still in the dating phase.)

It has a flashing part and a light part--powered by the different batteries

Yup. After a few years of marriage, you'll probably buy a flashlight.

Didn't you get a marriage proposal a few days ago?

They have 2 sets of batteries. The hard-wired rechargable and replacable button cells. I believe the rechargable is the primary and if that goes dead it starts pulling off the button cells. To be honest I don't know because even after regular use I haven't had to re-charge or change the batteries yet.

This is a good deal if you buy six, and then give them all away as gifts to neighbors (along with other items that make up emergency kits).

Alll of my personal flashlights must be "tactical" flashlights that I can carry while on neighborhood watch patrol with my buddy George.

Nobody wants these? What if the zombie apocolypse happens at dusk in about 7 days (give or take a couple for shipping)? You will be SO GLAD you picked these up!

These are great litle lights. They have a flasher mode and a flare mode. I bought them last time and bought 3 more sets this time. My daughter used one when she had aflat tire and it helped uncoming traffic know she was broke down.

katfox wrote:I love these flashlights. I paid $7.19 a piece at Target for two of these in different colors. They're perfect for my 2 year-old daughter, who takes them to bed and plays in the yard after dark with them.

They're perfect for a kid, as the controls are easy and they shut themselves off after a length of time.

All flashlight turn themselves off after a while it's called running out of power. If these do it before that then that is a pretty pathetic emergency flasher. I would want it on until I turned it off not when it decided to quit

Bought a three pack weeks ago and put them on my sport club's raffle tables. Well received. They work fine and would be a good addition to any glove compartment.

Woot never seems to amaze me. They can find and easily locate a flashlight but somehow is able to lose an entire car.

Everyone knows a paladin can't wear a Helm of Disintegration. You don't need to lie to impress me.

kovo wrote:How bright are these, in lumens?

How long does the battery retain a charge when unused? It's going to be rather pointless if you leave these sitting in the glove box for 6 months and they're dead when you need them.

Mine have been around since January with moderate use and the batteries/charge are still good. I'd say they're about as bright as the little aluminum LED lights that you see everywhere these days.
