will this work on the beach?

About $90 on Amazon. Think this comes with stakes that can be used on the beach. If not, REI or rose bud's would have what you need for not a lot of money. Sounds like the rope might be a little fragile, but at this price, you could replace that easily.

I have a very similar set - it is surprisingly nice.

Single player volleyball doesn't sound very fun.

They're not really that hard to set up - 4 stakes, two ropes at each pole and the net in the middle. The hard part is getting the spacing right and pulling enough tension on it to hold it up straight.

I would expect this to be much more expensive, what with it being made of platinum and all.

That's what I would think. Last time this was offered as a woot (don't remember if it was a woot off or not) a lot of people said it was difficult. Just based my statement before off that.

Shouldn't this be on sports.woot.com?

Do platinum balls bounce very well?

Look at the map, it clearly proves global warming, why else would someone in north dakota want this?
