Why do they bother changing the inside color if its going to be hidden by your ears?

Got a set of these last time. They're decent, but the plug doesn't always work well with all jacks. They're great with phones (where the mute button works) but hit and miss with other non-mutable 2.5mm jacks.

Are These Good?

saw these about a week or two ago in an Apple store (SoHo, NYC) $149.99.

Oh yeah, the cable isn't all that long either. Maybe 3'. Again--ideal for a phone, hit and miss for other uses.

These look pretty soft. Can anyone confirm or deny?

I have an Incase case I use for my iPad, it's a pretty good product and also very soft.

Although not sure I'd spend $75 on a pair of Headphones. Maybe I could just tell me wife they were $5.

It is a VERY specialized mic though. Apple products only. At least that's how I read it from the description.

If by "soft" you mean comfortable, then yes. They fit well and keep most external noise out. I really like the design and the sound quality is great.

There is a mic and it works rather well. I got these last time around and I love them. Very comfortable, only drawback is the cable is a bit short.
