Could I get a change of clothes in there? Might be interested if I start biking to work this summer.

It's a fanny pack, with a purse-length strap instead of a belt?

That's the "Eagle Creek shoulder strap"

I bet a change of clothes PLUS would fit. It's a great deal, you would need that "Eagle Creek shoulder strap" or something like it to wear it the way that guy is. That looks the best way to wear a lumbar pack to me. Great for carry on luggage for a flight too.

Looks like we're recycling jokes from the previous fanny, I mean lumbar, packs in the past couple of days.

I hope this doesn't turn into a 4-day Woot-Off, I need to get some sleep.

The reason Woot! has so many is because it's a discontinued model.

Some people have said it's larger than the Day model, but that's not true. This model is the smallest of their lumbar packs (holds 8 liters). The Day model holds 14 liters.

Here's a link that shows all the 2011 lumbar packs

It looks like a pretty beefy pack. Just made an impulse buy for one. I have smaller lumbar pack I use for hiking (it mainly holds camera gear) but this could come in handy too and the price is excellent.

Plus, it's not hideously red like the one before.

Cool. I went in for 1. I always get irritated with messenger bags on bikes because they swing down to get in my way. Backpacks can be too hot (and my favorite ones have the waist straps to take the weight at my hips). This looks like a great hybrid. And now that I've invested, I have that much more commitment to do the bike to work.

I just bought one for my brother because he likes to do that biking thing, and maybe he'll like it.

When it arrives, and if it looks ladybug, I may just repurpose it into a camera (fanny) bag.

I think it just depends on what they have... and there it is.

Great price. Have this bag. Like it. Slightly uncomfortable on my fencepost-shaped body. No hips for it to sit on. Holds a lot. I use the shoulder strap diagonally to support it when it has weight.

Wow! Got a bag, then got a bunch of crapolicious stuff to put in it!
