As much as the consensus here is that it sucks...
...it's still cheap...
...and a computer...
...the only two components necessary for a sellout on Woot.

I'd say yes if it had anything inside it that might produce weight.

Grandma's better off with a refurb laptop (try this) so she can Pinterest from her Craftmatic.

This is a netbook in a desktop case....less portable, no battery but you get a DVD drive....
My think pad x120e is as good as this (better actually since its has 8 gb ram and a128gb ssd).
.rev - 304.unique.woots / 542.total.items - woot is where the crap is.

edmclaugh76 wrote:You can connect to your tv via dvi and enjoy hd goodness with media center, no problem. As to recording hd television shows, yes and no. First you will need a tuner card for the pc so you can run your antennae or set top box into the computer. If you use an antenna you can watch and record in full hd. If you have satellite or cable it will be difficult to impossible to get get hd programming through the computer. You would need a special (and much more expensive) tuner and I believe a cable card as well. It's expensive and more trouble than its worth. I used to do this and using an antenna and media center I was able to watch and record beautiful hd television (network channels only, obviously). you can record and watch cable/satellite in standard def without trouble but who wants to do that?
That's some good info, but not for this computer. There's no place to plug in an actual tuner card here. There are USB tuners you could use tho.
