Terrible. Had to throw away 3 of the 12 balls in the package due to them having a significant gash in the side. Look like they got hit by a lawnmower

Another disappointed purchaser....I bought 3 doz. Nearly all were scuffed more so than description suggested, plus 2 PRACTICE balls. I will probably use for practice rounds only. Not worth the price paid, IMO.

Just got my. Bought 3 dozen. Like others said, the majority of them were total crap, maybe 5 or six total that are even usable.

Next time, Woot, save this garbage for the bags of crap. First time I have been really disappointed by Woot.

Here was the description:

Good Condition - These recycled golf balls may have slight blemishes and minor discoloration. No cuts are included. These golf balls may also include some player markings, team and corporate logos. These balls are similar to a ball that has been played for 9 holes and the flight characteristics are not compromised.

Sorry Woot. Do these balls really look like they fit that description?

I agree, I bought three dozen as well, and a few say "Practice" on them. I just received these today, and I am truly disappointed. I hope Woot does something about this for us.

Bot 3. After "retiring" about 2/3rd's of them before being played, the price per ball equals a dozen new-in-box. Not a good woot!

My thoughts exactly. There was negative value in this Woot. I would have rather bought 12 new Pro V1s, as I only have about 12 usable old balls at the same cost as 12 new ones.

Just received my order today and unfortunately I feel ripped off... the balls were not even cleaned and most unusable. I am disappointed with woot on this one...

I just recieved the "recycled" proV1X. Very unhappy with them. Everyone had some scuff or blemish that I concider a practice ball or one to get rid of. (like ones you hit at a driving range) I have purchased recycled balls before and they have been of much better quality in fact most you could not tell them from new. Many of these have the skin worn off and some look like they were in the bottom of a lake for years. I know they are recycled and I have had very good luck with everything I have purchased from Woot, but these were quite the disapointment. I was hopeing that I just one bad dozen but I purchased 3 doz. and all we terrible quality.

Just received 3 doz "range balls". Terrible quality. Most had at least 1/4 of the white rubbed off. Only one ball was good. Unfortunately it was a Wilson Prostaff. Thought they were all supposed to be ProV1(x)

I'm pretty disappointed in these balls, three or four have significant scuff marks on them. I've bought recycled balls at Target around Father's Day for $20 and none of them had scuff marks.

Add another disappointed customer to the list. 11 of my 12 balls had noticeable cuts. If I found these on the course, I'd toss them into the woods.

I'm hoping to get my money back, but am quite perturbed that I need to even go through the hassle of writing to woot and hoping they accept it.

This product is complete crap. I will never purchase it again and try to dissuade everyone from buying it. Out of the 3 boxes I purchased, I found 2-3 decent looking balls. All the rest were scuffed, old looking, or practice balls. I understand these are recycled, but they are not what they are advertised to be!!! NEVER BUY!!!

Very disappointed. Based on the description I expected some scuffs or ball marks, but what I received was not close to the product description. I would say of the 2 dozen I ordered 6 match the product description and maybe another 4 could pass as playable. The rest are just awful.

Just received my two dozen - all I can say is I am glad I didn't order three dozen. I may use up to half of them on water holes, but the quality is terrible. Some even have cart path scuffs on them. Two are marked "RANGE" so I cannot use them on my course or I will be accused of stealing their range balls. Worst WOOT that I ever bought.

My package arrived today and left me feeling a bit stupid about how excited I was over this 'deal'. I ordered 3 dozen golf balls. 12 are as described and course ready. 6 are worse than described but playable. 18 were worse than described, cover/paint integrity is compromised and 2 were marked PRACTICE; unplayable by my standards and I'm no great golfer by any means.

In the description it states "These balls are similar to a ball that has been played for 9 holes..." By this standard, 12 balls of 36 fit the description.

I'm not going to flame woot! over this as some others are doing, they are the reseller and this should be compensated to woot! by their distributor. I know woot! will make it right, they always do.

I just keep buying more and more crap...

Balls are beat and stained AND 4 are PRACTICE balls....ripped off from a driving range??? Not a good value in my opinion.

I'm also incredibly disappointed with this purchase. They look like well worn range balls, at best. I feel played. All look like they've been run through a meat grinder.

I have to jump in on this. I bought two dozen. Six of the 24 balls were usable. The rest were scuffed up crap. I've purchased recycled golf balls before, and they were nothing like these. It's a safe bet that the vendor hatched a plan to dump their unusable balls on Woot, knowing Woot customers are a pretty trusting group. I suspect this is the last time we see this vendor again.

The world's most expensive range balls ended up in my shag bag.

The first bad Woot--really bad. These balls are not stripped and repainted. They have scuffs, logos, and are in very poor shape.

Just got my delivery and ... what a pile of junk! This Reload Golf should be ashamed of the garbage they put in these boxes. I have bought reconditioned top line golf balls from Rovckbottomgolf.com and the balls were nearly flawless. These Reload balls were the dregs. Bad job, Woot!

Unbelievably bad quality balls, I'm astonished to be frank. Most are scuffed up so badly they look like the were played on concrete. Just about every single one out of two dozen has cuts and scuffs. This is certainly NOT normal wear of a ball played for 9 holes.

Where the heck did these even come from? I seldom have balls that look like this in my bag that look like this after several rounds of golf. These look like they were dragged from a car or something.

I just received my recycled balls this weekend and i am VERY unhappy with the quality of the product. Obviously I didn't expect new balls and was expecting some wear and tear. However, what I did receive was not what the definition of a recycled ball should be.

Many had obvious scrapes that made the ball unplayable as it would interfere with flight path. A couple looked like they had spent a year in the water.

Overall I would estimate 60% are playable. I haven't had a chance to closely examine all 36 but the first 12 were a bad start.

I'm with everyone else here. I was excited to receive my 3 doz. After I opened the package I was shocked at the poor quality of these used balls. I seperated mine into 3 piles. Usable 4 balls, water hole balls 9, unplayable 23. Very disappointed

Bought three boxes and over 50% had to be discarded. Most balls had a huyge blemish or cut. Some were used practice or x out balls.

I have to agree with everybody who bought these balls. I bought 3 dozen and got maybe 6 I would consider using during a round but even those I would usually take out of play if they looked like that. These are just awful quality and upset I paid $44 for 6 balls when I could have gotten a dozen new ones for a few dollars more.

bcarvi2

quality posts: 0 Private Messages bcarvi2

I too am unhappy with this woot. Only able to use 2 or 3 of the dozen balls I bought due to them being practice balls or major scuffs and torn covers. This is a big rip off when you can't use half the balls you buy

timabe

Like I said in an earlier post, it's a pretty safe assumption that the vendor did a "crap dump" and took advantage of our faith in Woot. I know a little bit about this business (recycling golf balls in a previous life) and am certain that these balls would not have otherwise been sold for any more than .05 each.

We all got hopelessly ripped off and if I was Woot, I'd be thinking about the other 18,000 customers who purchased this crap and are (at best) silently cursing Woot or, (at worst) telling everyone they know about how ripped off they feel.

First time I bought a Woot and not too happy with the golf balls!!! I must have gotten the runts of twelve other dozens! 4 had cuts, all but one had serious blemishes and one looked pretty good, especially if my name were Brian...If it is too good to be true, it probably is! PUT THEM BACK INTO THE PONDS...I'LL BE RETURNING THEM TO NATURE!
