miboater37 wrote:I have to agree with everybody who bought these balls. I bought 3 dozen and got maybe 6 I would consider using during a round but even those I would usually take out of play if they looked like that. These are just awful quality and upset I paid $44 for 6 balls when I could have gotten a dozen new ones for a few dollars more.
I contacted sevice@woot.com and got a full refund. Thanks woot!
I receive my cart path specials,6 of them are pure junk, the other 6 were most likely fished out of ponds months ago. I might play 3 of them, This purchase was a big rip off. I'm writing to warn people to never buy used golf balls from Woot
Hey folks, please feel free to write in to service@woot.com and let them know so they can help you out. Thanks.
I did write them they sent me."The golf balls were advertised as recycled and they might have some blemishes, but they should be usable still. Are your golf balls not usable at all? Can you send us a picture?"

I wrote also and got a request a day later to send pictures. I sent pictures (3 days ago) but haven't heard back from Woot.
"I'm very sorry for the condition of the golf balls received. A complete refund has been issued for the order and should post to your account within a few business days. You do not need to return the items to us." I got this a few hours after my initial email. They didn't ask for pictures or anything. Extremely well handled in my case. Great job
Kudos to Woot for doing the right, honorable thing and issuing refund. Shame, shame on the whoever boxed this trash to try to deceive unsuspecting buyers.
as an avid golfer I was too excited by the price of ProVI and didn't see the word recycled when I ordered. I could have bought the same "recycled". I can buy recycled golf balls incl. Titliest at the same or lower price with NO shipping charges at a number of sporting goods stores.
There are certain parameters that should be adhered to when referring to balls as "recycled" These balls probably did not qualify. I got 3 dozen, and probably half qualify as shags. They WERE cheap, though, and the world needs shags, too...
Fantastic customer service from woot! I got a refund for my Pro V1s with no questions. Thanks woot for doing it right!!!
I emailed service@woot.com within minutes of DennisWKam's post. Got the standard "we'll get back to you within 24 hours" line. Haven't hard anything since. But I am confident woot will make this right.
Pretty disappointed in the quality of the balls. Most of them are severely scuffed and a lot of them have logos on them which was not discussed in the description at all. Never bought recycled balls in such bad condition.
Woot really came through on this one and made it right after I emailed service. Didn't have to send photos or return the balls. Now I can continue to say I've never been disappointed by Woot.

It looks like we got your email and replied back on 05/05 with some options. Maybe check your junk mail folder to see if our reply went there. I'll go ahead and resend the email just in case.

Sorry for the issues. We did get your email and we replied shortly after. Please feel free to email back if you have any questions.

Resolved 100%. Thanks, woot!

Matter has been resolved. Very good customer service. Thanks Woot!!!!
I find it interesting that these weren't advertised as "reloads" or "recycled". What I received wasn't what I thought I was ordering. Buyer beware! Guess I'll know better next time.
I am curious as to the disparate treatment of the various Wooters. Some are being asked to provide photographic proof, some are being asked to return their balls, and some are being granted refunds and allowed to keep their balls. How does Woot determine who needs to do what?
I went to the Community page and found the ad for these golf balls and I don't see anything about "recycled". Plus, the picture of the balls show new clean Titlelist golf balls. Basically Woot showed and described one thing and sold us something completely different!! Shame on the folks at Woot! Stop making dumb jokes, comments, and stories about the items you're selling and just be honest!!
Just got my 3 dozen Pro V1X. Hope they fly better than they look.

Well, we were handling it differently at the beginning of this mess and we wanted to see how damaged these were arriving. Now we know how bad they are, so there's no need for pictures.

Sorry for the confusion. We did list that it was recycled twice, once under the price and the other was right under the writeup. This was also included: What are Reload Recycled Golf Balls? Reload Recycled Golf Balls are “cleaned” recycled golf balls. “Cleaning only” means we utilize a proprietary wash process that allows the recovered golf balls to soak in a non-abrasive cleaning solution. The golf balls are then washed in a specially designed golf ball washer. All of these steps are performed within a fully contained replenishing system. Reload Recycled Golf Balls have NEVER been subjected to a stripping, blasting, or repainting process. A refinished or refurbished golf ball is a very low quality golf ball that goes through an aggressive surface preparation by chemical and/or mechanical stripping of the original paints of the golf ball. The stripped golf ball is then repainted and reprinted. At this point the golf balls performance has been altered in some manner. The weight may have changed, the actual size of the golf ball has been changed due to excessive paint or the dimples of the golf ball have been improperly filled. The stripping and painting of golf balls is usually reserved for the golf balls with the highest value such as Titleist ProV1. Reload Recycled Golf Balls are simply washed and repackaged. PROV1/PROV1X Mid-Grade Quality Good Condition - These recycled golf balls may have slight blemishes and minor discoloration. No cuts are included. These golf balls may also include some player markings, team and corporate logos. These balls are similar to a ball that has been played for 9 holes and the flight characteristics are not compromised. Obviously, several of these didn't come in "good condition", but if you email us at service@woot.com we'll help you out.
Great customer service by Woot. Sent them a pic of the bad golf balls and received an email promising a full refund. Well done Woot!!
Thanks for doing the right thing Woot! I appreciate the good customer service.
Well I for one feel lucky with the balls that I received. I bought 3 dozen and out of those there were 6-7 that I would deem unplayable. The rest ranged from a few almost pristine to mostly what you'd expect from used balls. Almost all of them had corporate or event logos and were scuffed to some extent. This is pretty much what I expected from recycled golf balls. I haven't played with them yet so can't really comment on the actual playability vs new balls.
I received the golf balls that I purchased for my hubby. Sadly I must have missed the words "recycled" when I bought the deal.
I agree with everyone else "junk". Got 4 balls out of 36 that are decent enough to play. NOT HAPPY!!!!
Save you money for a better Woot! I didn't even receive all Pro V-1's. They also threw in a TaylorMade "Penta" and Callaway ball. Not a good deal.

Sorry about that. I'm sending you a PM regarding this issue.
These balls were definitely recycled. They were in terrible shape. Would not recommend to buy these ever again. Very disaapointed. Major ball marks on all the balls. I wouldn't even want them in my shag bag, they are that bad. Wished I had never recommended them to a friend.

Thanks! Woot listened and made it RIGHT. I didn't even ask for a refund and they just took care of it... I'm impressed and a Happy Wooter!!
I sent an email to Woot today requesting a return. About half of the balls I have received from the Woot delivery are very badly scuffed and unplayable (just as some of you have mentioned). This is the first time I have been disappointed in a Woot purchase...I am very surprised how bad the quality was. EDIT: Woot made it right with a refund within 10 mins of sending my email to them. Thanks for the quick response and excellent service Woot!
Holy crap, I just opened them today only to be disappointed and wondered if I was the only one who had it this bad. Looks like we all got scammed by this "American Re-load" place. I really hope woot will still take care of me.
