As a commercial pilot I use my tablet (iPad) while flying. There is a wonderful app (Foreflight) that has all of my aviation sectional charts (maps) and approach plates (think of approach plates as directions to the airport used during low visibility situations [clouds, fog, haze, smoke] based on radio navigation signals.) Using this FAA approved app potentially saves me thousands of dollars a year. Can't live without my tablet now. Plus, I check Woot on it.

...allowed me to appreciate the freedom of not having a tablet. I might just spring for some Google Glass whenever that comes out, though.
Have you been eating that sandwich again?

I find that two tablets, when dropped into a glass of water, quickly bring me back from upset stomach, acid indigestion or heartburn with headache.
Sugar 'em up and send 'em home

Hmm, think I'm supposed to mention an app here.
Well, I got my Toshiba Thrive to get used to Android, but the full sized SD slot makes it Fabulous for revueing pics taken with my DSLR without lugging along a laptop.
And, the Amazon Android Market's free paid app of the day made my brother (who has an iPad2) jealous! It's always fun to annoy one's younger brother, even when both of us are, umm, mature shall we say?

EI broke my back(Literally), I got a Xoom wifi refurb from Motorola when they must have needed to do a massive glitch fix, $499 1Year ago. I have only needed a full size computer since. If you work with the google docs, it does everything. I drop it between 2-10 times a day with no issues, they put ice cream sandwich on it fast.
I am able to get what I need done almost Everywhere, I actually sleep with it(It is a way to be alone safely after surgeries.
It helps that I have been a Apple certified tech from,92-2000 and a Linux junkie.
This is the first and only toy I have bought, not even an mp3 player. This is not a toy if you use it right. And the only thing I don't do with it is play games.
I don't see a Xoom 2, Xoom,3, for a while.
I don't know why I just put it on a pedestal Maybe because of all the third class citizen comments, or the fad comments.
I, say go android learn the curve its a keeper. For $139 WOOT had a nice tablet up last week, keep putting them up under $200 WOOT, and they will be a great deal
Whoops I did it again : /
