Good morning. Looks like a beautiful day.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

I now know how to get great weather!
Just make it so Rusty can't go play!

Going to costco with hubby. He destroyed a new fancy tee shirt I got there. I forgot to take it out of the washer. Did a tiny "hand wash" load. All needed to hang dry.

Hubby came along. Didn't look. Threw in the whites and did the hot wash and hot dry.

No more fancy hand wash hand dry tee.

I wonder if they will still have it. I got a necklace for my birthday that matched it.
Since I mainly have dog friendly clothes, I need something one step up.

The bras aren't happy either.

WE LURV YOU TOO! Dork!!!

You sound depressed, and I think that is entirely in order when a major life change is staring you in the face, and the multitude of decisions that go with it. I have not been over here that long that I know any background on why you feel that way and it is none of my business anyway, but I wish you could celebrate your accomplishments. I truly wish you well.

I don't like going to other peoples graduations, going to mine would be even more of a pain. Dress up in funky clothes and sit around for an hour listening to people talk and call a list of names. It really has nothing to do with excitement, I just don't like ceremonies.

Still single, can't imagine why.

I'm not real excited about going to others. #1 granddaughter is graduating college and #2 granddaughter is graduating high school in the next couple weeks. Would really like to get out of the college one.

klozitshoper this should explain me fairly well.

The only shirts I own are t-shirts (95% of them woot) and the only pants I own are cargo shorts. I use one pocked for my wallet (top right), one for my phone(bottom right), one for my keys* (top left), and one for my flashlight(bottom left).

I also have my watch, my glasses, and my belt. I wear basic tube socks, shoes with laces that I never untie( I just slip them on and off) and boxers that make a perfect rectangle when you flatten them.

I wash my hair daily, but I never comb it. I don't like facial hair but I find shaving a pain so it often grows out a bit before it is cut.

*includes key chain things like pill case knife etc.

Still single, can't imagine why.

Thanks for the further description of why you feel as you do. I agree with Poof, if your parents don't really care about coming to a graduation ceremony and you dont' think it is for you, that makes perfect sense. My daughter graduated with a BS in Business - hubby and I drove for 600 miles to attend the pre/post grad events. The day of graduation, my husband was so sick I had to take him to the ER and go to the graduation myself. I was a mess of nerves - got there late, really didn't see my daughter until her name was called and then had to hurry back to hospital. Four years later, she graduated with an MBA in Texas - flew down there, and this time I felt awful and spent a miserable few days trying to pretend all was well. When I look back on it. Ugh. But I know my daughter appreciated having family there. I personally don't care if I EVER see another grad ceremony in my entire life. So, as I said, if your parents don't care, you don't care, it is nobody's business!

Oh, and hi everybody. Beautiful day - but I should be with Rusty tied on the porch because of my bad knee. I would growl and bite if I could.

I couldn't agree more! If I get an advanced degree, I would love everyone to come celebrate. I guess part of that will be going to the formal ceremony. It really helps to have a good speaker though. My sister and husband both graduated from the college of business. My sister had a really interesting speaker, my husband not so much. We all spent the afternoon after my husband's graduation talking about how miserable the speaker was.

My college was so informal that the proceedings weren't so uncomfortable. I don't think we even had a speaker other than the dean.

Is accounts receivables ever correct? Receivables as a plural. I've always thought it was accounts receivable but I have a witness with a finance background occasionally saying receivables and I don't know if it's her or the reporter screwing up.

Plural is not correct. When that term is used by accountants in financial statements or otherwise, it's always accounts receivable. However, sometimes accounts receivable is referred to as simply receivables. I hope that helps

Yes, that helps. Thank him for me. I knew receivables by itself was okay. I'm going to mark all the accounts receivables. I think the reporter screwed up.
