There was a report near hubby's job. One park lost a bunch of trees, but the neighborhood was fine.

It is that type of storm. Very isolated.

I have to drive to the dentist tomorrow. Hope it is gone by then. I drove home in one of these weird storms from there once.

We have TVs that aren't hooked to DirecTV. They're saying we've had over two inches of rain in the last hour. We need it.

Took the kids and Orc to see Tintin and the old theater on Main. It was fun, but the theater crowd was noisy! Not just the kids (because it was a kids program movie), but the adults, talking, eating loud, fidgiting with stuff. If we'd paid more than we did I would have been really miffed, but we got them back, Ver3 got bored halfway through and talked through the rest of the movie describing everything on the screen, chair, or floor. We'll try again next week since we already bought out tickets for that movie (it's a punch card deal). If we didn't love the old theater I'd be annoyed, I guess I'm just trying to be happy they had as many people as they did even the guy on the left side who was yelling into his phone about being at the movie for the first 20 mins, during which time I really wished that theaters had subtitles (like they are supposed to but no one does) because then I could have 'heard' the dialog.

Wouldn't you know it, my Internet went out at midnight on the dot. Had to put out a frantic call for help. Gatz was the first to answer so he got the honors. Internet finally came back on at 12:40am.

What got me was that I called TWC and after the initial screening bot, I was transferred to CS and the line rang and rang and rang. On the 3rd try, I let it keep ringing just to see how long it would go. I hung up after 20 minutes when the Internet came back on. Sheesh. Never had that with TWC. They've always been really good.

Last summer's drought took out my tree in the front yard. It was a half dead ugly mess. Had it pulled out and the area covered with sod. Now I get to go drench the area every morning before going to bed.
