Yeah, needle/make fun all you want, but if you are lying on the bed and are sick and tired of using your laptop and/or Kleenex® box and/or pillow as an iPad leaning support device, this really has potential. Shaw/ean lying on the industrial-strength indoor/outdoor carpet is a perfect demonstration.

Besides, pink is Ms. zarchasmpgmr's favorite colo(u)r, and at 20 bucks, you can't go wrong for pleasing the better half. And as she recovers from cancer surgery, anything to make her recovery less stressful is genuinely appreciated by both of us.)

Hmm, I don't even have an iPad 2 or 3 (antique original owner here), but someday plan to get one. Thought to myself, this is cool, I'll have to remember it exists. Then I saw that it is $60 (!) on Amazon, so I went ahead and ordered one.

Now I just have to get a 3 before the 4 comes out.

In for one! Not only will this work well for around the house, but I'm planning on using it as a car mount for back-seat passengers while traveling. I am going to either rest it on the folded-down front passenger seat of my Flex, or for more security put the seat up and clamp the head rest down on the bean bag portion.

Thanks woot!

30 Second DIY iPad Stand - works great, fits any tablet and all you need is a wire coathanger: http://youtu.be/YfFKT-VtK4s

No good for using in your lap, but great for the kitchen counter or desktop.

In for 1.
I have a baby.
The baby tends to need to eat in the middle of the night in my bed.
This takes 1.5 hands (one hand full time, two hands most of the time). Having something to read/watch while feeding at that time of night is soooo helpful and sanity maintaining. No more trying to balance the ipad on a pillow and watching it tip backwards, readjusting, etc.
Sure, it may be a niche market. If you don't need one, you really don't need one. If you do need one? You REALLY need one.

That case looks like it has a tumor on the back.

No reason why the tumor should be only on the front of the ipad.

I use my ipad all of the time in bed. I get tired holding it when I read or play games. In for two.

I wonder if, with some bungie cords or rubberbands or maybe some duct tape, if this could retrofit my Toshiba Thrive????? I really would like this effortless propping i saw in the video, like the guy eating the chocolate bar.

Big deal. I velcroed my Samsung Tab to the airbag cover on my steering wheel. With Sling Mobile, I can watch dvr'd Formula One races while delivering pizza, and never miss an order from the dispatcher.
