I think its a shame that we are on item 3 and there aren't any comments for the woot off theme yet. Some hard work went into making this song.....three or four years ago....and I'm sure its equally as hard to record a new 10-15 second opening every 5th tuesday. So show some respect people, to the little people, the little swarthy insignificant people; who sit at home and say "I'm gonna write a new woot off theme song for the next woot off....ah screw it...just pass me the tequila".

I raise my glass to you lazy woot theme song writer. You've made a one time bit into a reoccurring tradition. I for one will take your lead and repost this same congratulatory post henceforth when the wootoff theme appears. Hazzaaahhh, Godspeed, and dare I say, Woot, Woot!

The thing is, when I finally change it, people are going to get all upset, just watch.

So you think its gonna be like a "new coke" kinda thing? I could see that. Just blame it on the bot writers (I'm still bitter).

I think an updated version of the same song would be in order.

As I've seen no cell phones in forever, we need some other terribly designed item that causes the drought.

If you change ONE WORD, I'll hold my breath until I pass out and bang my head on the coffee table.

If you are itching for a change, how about this: You lay a challenge down for wooters to write and record their own woot-off theme. Then you post the lousy tracks so we can mock them until it hurts.

Posting my support for the Wootoff song!

Change is a good and natural thing, but the woot-off song is an awesome thing. I invariably end up singing it the day following the podcast.

The update plan is already in motion! David Blaine can hold his breath for like nine hours, so start practicing.

We should do another community podcast contest sometime. We haven't had great response in the past, but then again neither did we offer any kind of reward.

I really like the theme.

Of course I always liked Weird Al, Skrillex, and obscure Zappa, too.

And Napoleon XIV, Dr. Demento, etc.

Honest (this is my sincere face), I like it.

My two favorite singing podcasts are/were the WootOff Theme and The Shanty of Bluetooth. But we never hear the Shanty now because it was a period piece when Bluetooth headsets were relevant. But the WooOff Theme is timeless. Bluetooth no longer brings excitement, but a Woot Off....Always.

Well done, oh Composer of the WootOff Theme...Well Done!

Sure, but then you rotate them. Randomly. Every day of every Woot-Off.

If you think the Bags are addictive, wait until there's something new to seethe and rail against no matter what your opinions! And that can only translate to profits. Somehow. Probably.

As long as you don't try to bring back that country western version of the theme... {shudder}

Seems to me that with a little pre-planning (like taking a paper bag in with you) you could have already made your own.

Sugar 'em up and send 'em home
