I play in a rock band, as the drummer. I wonder how interesting it would be to wear this while playing a gig?

How is the sound quality on this cam?

Does anyone know how this compares with the GoPro or other models out there?

I bought one of these in the last wootoff. Not exactly sure why, I just wanted one and couldn't help myself. I do like the feature that allows you to take pictures automatically every 1 sec. up to 60 seconds. Plan to capture some sunrise/sunsets when I travel to CO later this year. Other than that, I'm not sure how I'll use this thing. I need some ideas =)

Generally, this doesn't get as good reviews as the Go Pro HD series.

I got one of these last time around and have been really happy with it. Did a time-lapse of my work commute and a few bike rides. I'm getting a 2nd one today so I can film both the road and the rider to edit together for a bit more visual interest.

Audio isn't great, but it is decent. I don't expect much from a tiny mic with no windscreen.

The video quality is quite good. It is very wide-angle, so you get a panoramic view but there is some geometric distortion around the edges as you would expect from a really wide lens.

I got one of these last time they were offered and it is actually quite nice. I don't think the quality is any less than a go pro... But even if the video is slightly poorer, look at the price comparison and there is no beating these things. I wish I could pony up for another.

I just bought a GoPro Hero 2 for $300, and am extremely happy with it. I think I will keep the camera that a lot of tv shows (Mythbusters for one) use for TELEVISION! Got some good slow mo

I got one last time and I think it's great. I've recorded close to 250 miles on my Harley and it hasn't rattled apart yet. I use the waterproof case mounted on my handlebars - with the motorcycle's vibrations, the sound is useless for me.

These work great on the back of fishing boats. When you hook into a sail fish, all it takes is one push of the remote and you have the whole fight on video.

I think it depends on the groupies.

Great item for the price. The quality is somewhwere between a GoPro Hero and the Hero2. The Swann does not handle low light conditions quite as well, but for the price and included extras (lcd viewer, mounts, cables, etc) it makes a great alternative to getting a full priced GoPro.

Anyone got any pictures of this on a paintball marker? The only good camera I've seen on a paintball marker is the r7... I'd love to see how this could be mounted successfully though.
