For the human ear, this is not true. If you have two (2) 100dB sources together, it will really only output about 103dB.

I'm really in the market for a bluetooth speaker right now. Aside from moving along the woot-off, is this a good choice? For apple products specifically including an iPhone 4s. How well does the remote ACTUALLY control itunes?? this is a big thing for me.

Hang on, it has a power adapter that has to plug into it. That cable is also a tripping hazard! No deal!

MSRP means nothing. Normal retail is less than $150 at most stores and 20-25% less than that on sale.Camel shows the lowest price this year of $120.

I can personally state that Altec lansing has good sound quality. FOr example, take a laptop with their speakers in them and put it next to one that does not. THe difference in the notes is amazing. I would buy this if I had the extra cash

I'm hoping that they go back to the old supplier of Screaming Monkeys. The ones I got last time weren't as good as the ones I gave away, from a previous Woot-Off.

The prongs are on the reverse side of the adapter. Also, if you are worrying about a tripping hazard, it reportedly has a 7 hour battery life for the rechargeable battery.
