Looks like I should have come to this forum sooner. When my TV came I set it up in a spare room and tested it.
That was the last time it worked. I just tried again this evening (it's a spare room, so it would get intermittent use), and I'm having the same problems as everyone else here.
TV just simply doesn't turn on. The "VIZIO" logo light is lit, but the TV itself just won't turn on.. not by remote, not by unit switch, not by unplugging/replugging, etc.
Very little direction on how to go about getting this resolved. I sent an email to service, but what are my next steps?
And judging by this thread there seems to be a larger issue here. Woot, you should consider emailing everyone that purchased one of these and have them test. I suspect many customers purchased this has a secondary/tertiary unit, and as such, may not be immediately aware there is some jeopardy here.
