Trying to figure out how good of a deal this is. The ones on Amazon - is that a pair or one speaker?

These speakers get reasonable reviews and are a pretty good price. Comparable speakers list at $150 per set.

These cannot be bi-wired and have horizontal mounting posts, so clearly more for home theater use rather than as standalone bookshelf speakers.

I haven't listened to them, but am nonetheless tempted.

Yes, Pinnacle designed them specifically for home theater. Go for it. I've had great experience with the company. 10 year warranty is as pretty as their finish.

So Pinnacle is giving letting woot sell these speakers for $600 less than MSRP?

I can't find any reviews on these.

However, both Woot and Moofi have offered this before, both times at $139.99 so this looks to be a decent deal at least price-wise.

that's for 1, look at the shipping weight. These are 7lbs each

I will stick to HSU speakers.

Pinnacle is a great company atleast in the past. Have not purchased pinnacle products in a few years.
