EDIT. did more googling, and the image for the "JESTER RED" on FILA's site is the same as the WOOT image for the red...but other places show the JESTER RED as the red in the image I linked to above... Now I am confused.

I ordered a red one precisely because it wasn't TOO red, more of a clay red to my eyes. I have more than enough black and charcoal grey jackets in my closet so I want to spice things up a bit, but not hot fire cherry red.

I'm also confused about the color. I like the maroon red on the front page, but when I add it to my cart it shows a blazing candy apple red (it also shows this for the two other shots showing the detail and water resistance). Also, google searches elsewhere show the red and blue to be rather extravagantly bright--just not in Fila's or this site's product shots.

I just ordered one. I don't have a water-resistant jacket except for my heavy parka, which is way too bulky to wear most of the time. I got blue; I'll probably look like a giant Smurf, but I get bored with wearing black all the time. ;)

I too am curious about the colors. The color in the first few images are different from the last couple and the picture shown on the payment screen. I found another website that sells these jackets for $40. I'm hoping the colors are more realistic, since it seems like they had models put each one on. I have seen these often on Steap and Cheap for far more than this woot! deal. Fila is a good brand for snow sport clothing.

Might these be good for running? I'm looking to build a nice winter running outfit, and these look excellent but I wonder about the fleece and sweat.

Which red is it? The large picture shows more of a burgundy color. Then when you go to check out its more of a crayon standard red color. If you check the Fila site the only red still available is between the two shades woot has.

Perfect timing.. Weather is getting cooler, and well changing alot. Needed a jack that met the needs of being cold and possible rain/snow... this seems to be what im looking for.. i am in for 1... color choices were tough though
