Really woot? "One day one deal?" How is one to discern which of the hundred items being sold on your sites is the the one deal?

I feel like the monkey is a much worse deal now that we have to pay shipping on everything.

I would love to buy some monkeys, but not paying the extra five bucks.

I used to get so excited about Woot-offs; I'd check on them many times throughout the day and night. Now, I hardly notice them at all and forget they're even taking place. I have three friends that used to be Woot-Off fans like me. They too, have lost interest. It's sad to see an old friend like Woot forget their past and run off seeking better pastures. Sigh. There used to be lots of fun and weird items offered. It was exciting anticipating what goofy item would be offered next. Now, it's not much more than an electronics clearinghouse. I even lost interest in collecting the screaming monkeys.

Yeah, Woof-offs kind of suck now.

In fact, Woot itself is in serious decline.

Getting close to deleting the bookmark. It was fun while it lasted, but the acquisition really killed it.

Ever since Amazon sucked you in, Woot - you guys are headed downhill. No Bags of Carp, woot-offs suck more each time, and more and more people are just ticked off. You lost your edge Woot - you're a lost dot com. All thanks to some bad corporate decisions way up top... tisk tisk tisk.

I don't know they appear to have found quite a few people willing to bite on the non deals they have been offering lately. Haven't seen a sell out in a while though. I haven't come close to hitting the I want one button on anything they have offered since the acquisition. I actually forget to check woot for days now.

Look back...it started going down hill once they partnered up with Amazon.

These aren't the good monkeys, these are the GREAT monkeys! If I hadn't bought the Flame monkey in December 2012 and then caught all three that are offered tonight during the 3 days of monkey tossing at CES 2013, I would have purchased my limit of monkeys.

That's O'neill with two L's *holds up three fingers*

Starting in November, Ct. will be charged online sales tax.

Amazon is moving here for a distribution warehouse.

Expensive monkey business.

Nothing is free but if you are lucky it can be inexpensive.

$9 woot-off monkey after shipping charges (even if you bought 10 other things today).

If you buy one of these, you need help.

Agree...I don't stay up late to see what great treasures are coming up because they aren't great and they won't be sold out in the morning. Thanks Woot for helping me get more sleep and increase my bank account!

OK... so if you only buy one monkey, it's kind of pricey.

But if you buy this one, plus the two that are over at Kids Woot right now, those monkeys are quite the bargain.

At least that's what I keep telling myself, because I just bought them.

Woot has lost it's sense of fun. The offerings aren't compelling, the woot offs stink, and the writing is uninspired. This is just another deal a day site now. How sad.

I haven't bought anything from Woot in ages. So needless to say when I saw the price they are asking for their monkeys now, it kind of floored me. Even if you buy 3 it's still too much.

Exactly.

And who could buy just one monkey, anyway?

That would be so wrong.
