$100 winner just for coming up with the idea, not even counting the great execution.

Actually, just about everybody IS breaking the rules, because few of these depict a television show. I doubt it will make a difference.

Ouch! I was just about to start on this one. Excellent idea even if it copies the one in my brain. Of course, because it's the same thing I thought of, it can't possibly win. so next time you should NOT use an idea that I would think of. Like it lot's, though.

Sometimes old people just need a change. I wondered what that smell was.

The main instructions say:

Jason Toon wrote:Your challenge this week:

Take a famous painting, drawing, or photograph and make it "wide-screen" by adding more imagery to the left and right of the original work.

That is backed up by the main paragraph which states:

Jason Toon wrote:"we want to know what was going on just out of frame in classic works of art like The Garden of Earthly Delights and Nude Descending A Staircase"

The part about the TV show is just "leftover" from last week's contest.

Technically correct, but changing the orientation wouldn't have been true to the "original art."

Besides, I think it is funny that anyone that used the "original art" would end up wetting themselves. The dribble glass of urinals.

The extra letters on the top are

B W

On the bottom the V along with the side of the E changes to an M

It appears that guy is killing Marat softly, with his palm... You get points taken away for forgetting the aromatherapy candles and Portishead playing in the background. But it's still a damned fine job.

Agreed, but technically, being a graphic artist, a movie poster (DVD Cover) is a work of art...just not in the traditional sense. The rules also do state a Photograph, so a publicity shot could also be used while following the rules.

I think I did one with Gilligan golfing. Does that count as a TV show?
