It's rare that a song can be heard as a clear transition, but… well, here you go. Kicked out of the Sex Pistols, John Lydon sent a clear statement that people needed to forget his old image! But he did it in a song that was designed to remind everyone what that image actually was. He got his cake, and he got to eat it, and he got a MUCH better band, and he got a great song that's all about how you should be ashamed for listening to it. Pretty slick.
