Music Monday: Whos

by Scott Lydon

Happy Music Monday! So, last week we got a bit distracted talking about Doctor Who. This week, though, we're back on track. Scott's opening the floor to all the songs related to who. That's right, who. Go on, do the bit, we've got time.

El De Barge - Who's Holding Donna Now

De Barge also had another song that qualifies as a "Who" song. Can you guess it? Go on, try. Try as hard as you might. Then post it in the comments and we'll all be very impressed.

More who songs to come, after the jump.

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Who'll Stop The Rain

You could probably fill a Music Monday entirely with CCR songs about rain. But this is, as far as I can remember, the only CCR song that asks a question that begins with Who. If you know otherwise, prove me wrong in the comments! Otherwise SHUT IT, JERKFACE.

Heart - Who Will You Run To

Heart is a band that's been around long enough to enter the rock canon, and yet some people just never think to mention them. To some people, they'll always be on the B-List. Is that fair? No, it's not. BOOOO if you don't like Heart BOOOOOO

Barry Mann - Who Put The Bomp (In The Bomp, Bomp, Bomp)

This will be the question Steven Moffat focuses on in his final season. Non-Doctor Who fans won't understand that joke but to an insider, it's hilarious. Right? Help me out, fans.

Madonna - Who's That Girl

This flirtation with Spanish culture was really kinda the start of "Serious Artist" Madonna, leading to the reputation she now has today. Which means this particular who might in fact be the most important who on this list. Who agrees with me? Eh? Eh?

Let us just remind you: some images come from the corresponding Wikipedia page and are here under fair use. See you next week as we recap Scott's favorite five songs of 2015. Start getting your own personal list ready for the comments!
