The writer was just one line away from finishing when he realized his mistake.
He had written a beautiful parody of the Lou Bega hit, "Mambo #5" seamlessly integrating various product features - such as the 6400dpi 4G Dual Sensor System and the 1ms response rate - into the lyrics. But more importantly he had conveyed how it felt to hold a gaming mouse that not only can match the speed of your swipes, but also allows for the configuration of cutoff distance to manage liftoff tracking.
Then, just as he was about to pull everything together for a grand, hilarious finale, he realized, this wasn't the Razer Mambo. It was the Razer Mamba... like the snake.
He watched sadly as the cursor made its journey back from whence it came leaving no survivors in its wake. Now, he had to rewrite the whole thing. And probably make a Kobe Bryant joke.
