“I hear he seeks the TV that killed his pa. Roaming from town to town, he pursues it with a single-minded fervor.”
“That’s right. He doesn’t remember much, being a lad at the time, but he says the TV was 19 inches, and featured an HDMI input and digital tuner.”
“But that could be thousands of TVs.”
“Sure, but he remembers the name.”
“That so?”
“Sansui.”
“Sansui? But...but that’s my given name...”
“You don’t say?”
“You don’t mean...oh no...but that was so many years ago. That family had it comin’, being unprotected on the trail...and...I thought nobody survived.”
