Okay, so this Wi Ex In-Car Signal Booster isn’t the sexiest thing on the market. Actually, we’ll just give it to you straight: with the interior patch antenna on your front windshield and the external magnetic mount up on top of your car like a malnourished, off-center fin – it’s kind of an eye soar. But let’s consider two other things, shall we:

1. In a lot of states, you’re already supposed to be wearing some sort of hands-free headset to talk on your phone in the car; and…

2. If you need a thing like this, you’re probably not driving through the most densely populated area.

Basically, what we’re saying is, you already look stupid with that earpiece thing in your ear, but hey who really cares because no one’s going to see you or your car out in the middle of nowhere anyway. So just buy it if you need an extra bar or two in your car, because it actually does work. Unless you have Nextel. Then there’s nothing we can do to help you…
