I knew I shouldn't have passed up the TVs earlier!

I would get one but since I passed up the TVs I also passed up the super throw down HDMI cables. There is no point in this now.

I probably waited too long to get the kids a notebook as well.

And now I have to sign off because I need to sweep and mop. Man, if they had tossed out a two-fer roomba and scooba I would have been so all over it!

Kind of like that broken line in the laundry room. A leakfrog would have been worth its weight in gold....

Ok ok ok. I got one. I'm not a geek, really. But I am engaged to one...and he loves WWII weaponry, so it'll be worth it. And it it gets me to the flying monkey quicker, it's all good.

I remember the day of the Loma Prieta earthquake - I was in a bar in the Georgetown area of DC waiting for the world series game to start. When it didn't, we sat there and drank anyway, and all night people came in the bar and bitched about them not having the game on the TV.
