You should consider seeing a Dr. The ads recommend you do that after a mere 4 hours.

Don't give Woot any ideas .... Hmmmm

Used once by a small little man in Japan and shipped direct to Woot for refurbishment. These latex babies should last for hours. If not, just return them for a full refund.

Oh wait, Woot NEVER gives money back. Never mind ... Pass.

Oh wise Woot owl ... How many licks DOES it take to get to the center? The world may never know.

Bought one of these (sans pouch) a few years back from Sam's Club for 200-something dollars. When Charlton Heston comes around the bend in a few thousand years, one of these Little Giant ladders will be sticking up out of the sand right by the Statue of Liberty. Not only is it seemingly indestructible, you won't find a sturdier feeling ladder anywhere. Only down side: that sturdiness comes with a price (besides dollars). It is pretty heavy, so you need some strength to maneuver it around, especially when you extend it.

makara83 wrote:refurb doesn't always mean something was wrong with it...if it was a mechanical error it was fixed and made available for resale at a lesser price...but refurbs also include items that were purchased at retail, then returned because the buyer changed their mind...a retail outlet cannot simply repackage it and sell it again for its original price because it is no longer new...so they pass it on to woot and allow them to find some way to ship it for five bucks

While I generally agree with you, ladders aren't usually impulse buys. Nor do people change their minds because the color was wrong, or it doesn't fit their decor. One then really has to wonder why enough people changed their minds for the manufacturer to have a large enough supply to sell to Woot.

Now if only the Little Giant could fit neatly into the Cargo Pouch for easy carrying....I would be in for 3!

mhodges wrote:Little Giant has (or at least they did have, I didn't verify its still in place) a very generous return policy. I'm guessing these "refurbs" are really returns and/or marketing samples.

Trust me, you can drive a truck over these things and not damage them. I speak from experience on that one..

I shared a hospital room with a man that had one of these fail while he was on the top rung. The refurb was probably to replace something in the hinge...

That is such a GOOD price. We paid $300 for ours and it is fantastic. I'm not sure if ours is taller, but is a wonderful ladder. It's the only one you'll ever need.

Have a wizard enchant the pouch to contain an extra-dimensional space, problem solved.

When employees first begin working at Little Giant, they are taught all the steps in building a quality ladder. Beginning with spot welding, they eventually move on to placing useless red bags at the top of ladders. If the spot welds are not up to snuff, Little Giant sends the rejects to places like Woot where buyers can not inspect the product before purchase. Usually, most of the welds hold since there are several on each rung. You should feel fairly comfortable 15 feet in the air on these beauties.

This is no stairway to heaven, but I have another brand folding ladder and use it frequently around the house.

Remember wootoff addicts, this ladder has a 250 pound rating so most of you will need to buy 2.
The lifetime warranty is for YOUR lifetime which won't be long if you continue to stare at wootoffs.

At first glance, this didn't seem like a good deal, but the closest model at H0me Dep0t is $359, and the exact model is $199 on the bay. I borrowed a friends once, and it is the Ferrari of ladders. Truly indestructable and Very versatile - used it to paint the highest point of our stairwell.

Dang, if only I didn't spend that $144.00 burning a hole in our pockets on that dang Roomba... :-(

Bought one of these on here a while ago, without the kangaroo-pouch upgrade, absolutely love it! We have painted the exterior of our house with it, every room inside the house, and installed new lighting fixtures in almost every room. Very sturdy, and super versatile. This is a good price, Little Giant's are very reliable.
That said, you should buy three! Come on, 5 bucks for shipping on three ladders, how can you go wrong? They make great gifts, well for some people.

Just be careful that you never put a Bag of Holding into your Extra-dimensional Cargo Pouch, or the world might implode.
