WHAT THE HELL!!!!!! NOW IM BEING CHARGED TAX!!!!!!!!! i never have been charged tax on woot ever!!!! man i finally get a item i want for a reasonable price 13 total AND IT GOES UP 2 dollars cuz of tax... i swear woot has gone downhill in these last 3 months. Ill pass on this on thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

So does this actually charge the iphone like a portable battery or is it just an adapter to charge through a usb port?

I'm guessing you live in a state that has an Amazon warehouse in it, because that is how the _government_ determines if you pay taxes or not (not Woot, not Amazon).

The original battery in the iPhone is 1420 mAh so this should give you up to 50% extra juice.

i didnt know amazon had a warehouse in new york i never get charged tax when i order on amazon tho
