Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

Really? Risk is taking the early lead? Has anyone ever finished a game of Risk without getting too drunk to see?

I mean, tired. Too tired to see.

Did you know shirt.woot ships internationally? Get you some!

We have board games instead of a TV, so we have uncommon ones and actually never play everyday games like those. Settlers of Catan, Race for the Galaxy, Agricola, Empire Builder, etc. are our games of choice.

Never played Risk till my favorite gaming site (pogo.com) added it. It's my favorite out of those now, though I've yet to play it with an actual board!

Also, for drinking/board games, nothing beats Guess Who?

Pardon me, would you have any bags of crap?

Hey, I love most of these games, but what about checkers? Chess? Is today's Woot being sponsored by Hasbro?

I was the first person to vote and it was for Risk which meant risk had 100% of the votes. I expect it to fall in the ranks quick though.
Have you ever played the Lord of the Rings version of Risk? It takes at least twice as long as the original. I had to play it over a week or two to finish (definitely not continuously). I haven't played it since. (It was fun though)

The best game by far (not really a board game) is Jungle Speed
So much fun!

The game of LIFE. Star Wars LIFE is equally as awesome as the original. I can't believe that wasn't a choice!

Sure haven't! Part of me wants to now, but the other part knows I would never finish and probably have to strangle someone before it was done.

I'm also really bad at Risk; always ended up getting stuck in India and never coming out.

I concur. The question should have been phrased as "Besides the obviously superior LIFE, what is the other favorite board game?"
Going to try out SW LIFE, thanks for the idea.

Catchphrase!!!
who picked those Sirius GPP options...come on. Are any of those really ANYONEs favorites? I mean how sad is your life if the most exciting game you play is Monopoly? (which happens to be the leading vote getter)

Edit: why is WOOT changing the word 'l a m e' to 'Sirius GPP'?

I Prefer Axis and Allies. When properly set up, it will confuse and agitate your parents into permanently cancelling game night. Which, in turn, will eventually lead to their divorce.(Yes it was your fault after all.)
