Buy Chinese-made shirts. They're generally one size smaller. Their Large would be our Medium.

In other words, 100% polyester is good for cold weather. Well, Winter is just a few months away...

As for sweating, you can't blame polyester. It doesn't inherently keep in heat. It all has to do with how the fiber is spun and how the fabric is woven. For example, virtually all Hi Tech athletic wear are made of polyester. They breathe better, wick more, dry faster and cause less chafing when there is a lot of movement.

Just search Amazon, i.e. Champion Men's Double Dry Training T Shirt.

sdc100 wrote:I bought 15 so it came out to less than $2 each. At that price, all this nitpicking is stupid. I agree that even at $2.50, it's silly. But you need not be a math major to answer your question. It's just a matter of multiplication. The big problem is thatmber of colors isn't specified.

Here you go:

(4 Brands) x (2 pocket choices) x (3 fabric choices)
= 24 possible combinations in 1 color

Simply multiply 24 by the number of colors and you'll get the number of combinations.

Also have to factor in the various sizes.

I MUST have two of the three. Size and Material.... Or, Size and color, but you have asked me to give up WAY to much choice, especially at this price.

Risk of getting a pocket t-shirt kills this...plus the price with shipping. I could get my own color selection at the local blank shirt shops for the same deal or cheaper (some do 5 shirts for $10)...and I could try them on if I want.

No thanks.

I'm also not a fan of shirts with pockets, ill-placed for us ladies. I'd love to trade any pocketed shirts I get if there is an interested party.

Click the "write us" tab above, and use the left hand column box. It goes to service@woot.com to allow you to hopefully modify the order. Do it now/soon.

This is true. My favorite hot weather t-shirts are some nice moisture wicking polyester fabric. They are very light and comfortable. They wear like iron too.
But then I bought another brand of polyester shirt, and while comfortable, the fabric pilled and turned very ratty looking after only 2 or 3 washings.

So, it says you can get these in XXXL, but if you try to order those, it says that size is not valid. What gives? Been this way since this morning.

bobbysfca

So.... a solution!

I can't order this because of polyester, and to a small degree, due to the likelihood of no pockets.

I like T-shirts in size XL with pockets in cotton.

Anyone who ordered this 5 pack who gets unwanted shirts that match that set of specs, contact me. I will take them off your hands at the price you paid!

Could use more and wouldn't mind random colors. I like wearing complementary/contrasting colored t-shirts under button-up shirts.

Then I realized the Starter shirts I got last time at a local store cost less - they were $5 for 3. Softer than most t-shirts, and I can somewhat pick the colors - they are three-packs with two of one color and one of another color.

Wow - I woot!ed so much my sig can't contain it all!

I don't understand why the media completely ignored all the flooding in the catskills after Irene.

Awesome. They were probably very happy to get new clothing compared to a lot of the used crap they receive.

It is interesting, that since Irene didn't do as much damage to the population centers, like NY City, as they were thinking, it became a non-story.

Then when Lee dumped insane amounts from the Southern Tier of NY down through the Mid-Atlantic... Not much except for a few stories from Binghamton on the Weather Channel & NBC... and some little updates on the other networks from Wilkes-Barre, PA.

Were they burned out??? Did they think that communities of 220,000 like the Binghamton metro area and 500,000 like Scranton/Wilkes-Barre did not truly matter to the rest of the country??? Who knows... but when Cedar Rapids (which was mentioned by another poster) has an MSA of 250,000, that logic doesn't really hold water. (Pun kinda intended.)

While there was some on TV news... it was short 2 to 4 minute blurbs in the national nightly news and morning programs. Newspapers probably hid it in the back.

I tried that. I wrote to service when I stupidly pressed the stupid gold button too soon. That was just after the item was posted. In the afternoon I got this: "I'm sorry, but we are unable to modify orders for items currently on sale - due to the limited quantities available."
To change a I want 1 to I want 2? So I could've created another order but why? 32,000+ is pretty limited I guess and they didn't sell out of my sizes anyway.
Many folks have asked the question and many replied as you did. Very very strange. Like I was asking to increase 3 to 4, or for a second Bag.
