Caffeine pills. I can't stand coffee, and I'm trying to cut down on hfcs and sugar in general.

I periodically suffered from severe migraine headaches for over twenty years, but then I started drinking caffeine-free drinks, to please my elderly father. The migraines abruptly stopped, and I've only had 2 or 3 bad headaches in the seven years since that time. NO WAY will I EVER go back to drinking anything with caffeine, other than on very rare occasions!

CAFFEINE!? What makes you think that I take caffeine? Is it that I sleep four hours a night? Could it be that I have become what feels like a precursor to a zombie (just without the appetite for brains)? Is it because I am replying to this post so early in the morning and yet I work a nine to five job?
I resent the fact that woot thinks that these things aren't naturally occurring.

Oh hell yeah, I take my caffeine in ANY of the first four listed sources!

Chocolate all the way. Does not have to be sweet, just good.

We've got kilos of 99%+ crystalline caffeine... There was one study examining caffeine as a crack substitute, participants reported it was the best crack they've ever had.

Ingesting a gram or more of caffeine has a good chance of causing heart palpitations or a full on attack. I was amazed there were no deaths in that study, given the nature of addicts.

Death via caffeine:

If coffee is unavailable, I usually just have a direct IV of straight caffeine. Thought about putting a permanent connection in my vein for it, but, I like coffee, and I feel that would deter my drinking habit...or give me a heart attack from caffeine overdose...one of the two.

After my resting heart rate hit 140, I had to really give up caffeine instead of just lying and telling the doctor I gave up caffeine. I miss my Mountain Dew.

I miss my Mt Dew also. Had to give it up because of stage 2 hypertension.

A while back, I bought 200g (WAY too much, I miscalulated by a factor of 10) of caffeine from trueprotein.com for around $11 . I have enough anhydrous caffiene to last the rest of my life.

I am mostly using it to make a poor man's 5-hour energy:
1/3 packet of propel zero
100-200mg of caffeine (about the size of a pea)
enough water to fill a reused 5HE bottle

I keep a few on-hand at my desk to sip during days where I am feeling especially groggy. Beats that free sludge in the break room they call coffee.

Yeah, I'm a coffee guy. I used to drink a 2 liter if mt. Dew every day, but I figured that was bad for me so I stopped. Now I just drink coffee.

Lots if coffee.

I used to drink a lot of caffiene--mostly soda.

Then my doctor told me I had high blood pressure and an irregular heartbeat.

So I quit. Couple months later the irregular heartbeat was gone and my blood pressure was normal. So I don't drink that stuff anymore.

Mountain Coffee. Thats coffee that's brewed with mountain dew instead of water.

Coffee. Dark, strong. And sometimes soda. Like jwrebholz, I should probably quit.

mmmmmm Caffeine.... I get it from Hot Cocoa powder powered up by sweetened and lightened bold coffee drinks. Mmmmm... hot coffee chocolate. When I want to make it special, I pour a slightly cooled version over coffee ice cream and top it with whip cream and cocoa powder.

I don't. I have an extremely addictive personality. And I know that once I start drinking coffee or using pills, I won't be able to function without them. So, I stay away from as much caffeine as possible.

Coffee, espresso, Café Cubano..
Here in South Florida, there are caféterias all over. It's a cultural thing with the latin population. Sip a café con leche in the morning, brew a colada later in the morning, share it with friends. Again after lunch, and again later in the afternoon. Each shot seems to have the caffeine of a cup of American coffee (or maybe its the sugar added...)

Options A through D.

The girl at my favorite Dutch Bros always looks at me funny when I pull up finishing off a Rockstar cola and ordering 2 iced ER-911s. Especially after I've finished the first one before they finish making the 2nd.

For those of you who aren't lucky enough to have a Dutch Bros, a 911 is a delicious Irrish cream flavored concoction that has 6 shots to it. I tip well, so the girl tosses in 2 extra.
