I heard if a Mac and a HP PC made, they make an iPad.

The specs make this a great gaming PC at a low entry cost. Modern Warfare 3 here I come!

Yes, it is. It has enough ram to do plenty of things at once, a huge hard drive, and a nice processor. Buy a new graphics card, and it will be a pretty decent gaming computer, too.

They had to buy a lot to get the touch pads.

Pinged from Newark NJ, to Fort Worth Texas.

For email, youtube and casual browsing yes this is more than enough.

For gaming it might need a $100-$200 graphics card to run the latest games smoothly.

I have a similar hp desktop that is a different model and it does not have wireless. I just assumed that is typical for desktops even though it was disappointing. Am I wrong? Do most desktops typically have wireless?

bruceb28 wrote:Can't HP make a computer that doesn't need to be refurbished?

I was told that a lot of these aren't actually refurbed, back when I ordered the bigger brother to this woot (Which has been working fantastically for what we need, minus a loose memory card when it arrived.).

ojohn wrote:A lot of these will be stone cold brand new, just in a plain sealed brown box printed "HP Re furbished". They are overstock or may have a tiny visual imperfection, but have never been packaged in the retail colorful box then shipped/sold/opened or used and sent back etc.

They will, or can, mix in some really refurbished ones but most have never left HP before this. That's how HP rolls.

I bought one of these during a woot several weeks ago and I'm using it now. Love it! Plenty of computer here...you can hardly go wrong! It's a very nice feeling to have purchased a very worthy computer and, at the same time, not drained your spending funds.
