BizRate prices

MSN Shopping prices...
Nextag prices...

... one of these links actually does have it for an insane price, but it might be fake, or a mistake... if you find out if its true, let me know, cuz i'll buy it at half the woot price any day... other than that one, most the listings don't come remotely close... but like i said, if anyone finds out that the crazy low price i saw is legit... ... holler back... woot woot.

I do a daily woot blog where I talk about the woot, link to CSEs, find reviews, etc. A few people have told me it's useful. Google "useful linkage" and there it is.

Your WHAT?

Haha.

I wonder how strong the vibration is. Might they vibrate enough to slide out of postion/off your head? Also, how are these powered? USB?

Anyone know if:

a) this works with Macs?
b) the microphone would work with Skype on the Mac?

the driver size, sound cancelling, snr ratio, db rating... these look amazing!!!! I only wish I had any money whatsoever.
Does anyone know if the microphone is detachable and if it needs power all the time, ie can it be used with an mp3 player minus the microphone?
Nice w00t!

Link to a Review If one is so inclined.

(it was the first up on google, but it seems pretty detailed. Were it not for the plethora of insidious FLASH FLASH FLASH sorts of ads, it might even be considered quite good)

Awesome. This'll go nicely with my Logitech iFeel. My collection of vibrating peripherals is growing... :D One day I will combine them all into a Quake-controlled earthquake machine. Muahaha!

Nice headphones for gaming...Sadly I already have a decent pair but I'm still tempted to get this one at this price...Some good reviews on these (for what it's for - gaming). Woot, bring us 5.1 headphones...

I think you should check out a product by Turtle Beach
called EarForceX2

its a dual headset with a boom mic (its not the greatest mic though) It plays in -game sound as well as in-game voices at the same time...so for instance, late at night, you can turn your TV volume off...and play strictly from the headset.
Not even close to $20 though.

haha that super low price is like an ebay site... you have to bid on them to get them for a low price like that... plus there is over 2 days left on the "auction" which means chances are they will not sell that cheap... plus you have to be careful because they are used! haha

nite nite woot! (can we get a Blinged-Out Cabbage anytime soon??)

It was an auction and it had already ended. $9.99 would have been the beginning bid.

It has a separate plug for mic and separate for headphones (speakers), and USB for power only, so I don't see why it wouldn't work with any of the above...

Look at the plugs....
All it is is just a line-out, mic-in, and usb.
Meaning anything that produces sound and listens to a microphone will be compatible with it

special788k

quality posts: 0 Private Messages special788k

I think you could get it to work with an 360 minus led and force feedback if you solder the mic cable and headphone cables into the connector that comes with the original headset....

oh that makes no sense, google it, you might be able to get it to work

another option might be mic to the controller and the other cord to stereo out... but thats another bussiness altogether

also considering 360 does have usb support you might just get vibration and led power but who knows if a driver is neccesary and the 360 would probably reject it

sorry if this isnt any help to anyone but just chalk it up to another worthless woot post

These will nicely replace my old pair of Altec Lansing AHS-502s (Which suck.. I wore those Altec Lansings on many occasions for like 4 hours during raids in WoW and they HURT my ears - a lot each time).

The AudioFX's sound like they are more comfortable plus fireballs and explosions ingame should get a well deserved bump - rock.

In for 3! (2 for me, 1 for my friend who is in desperate need of a good headset)

I couldn't resist. The temptation of actually feeling myself crash in Flight Sim is just far too great. Good woot!
