I agree. It's not refurbished, and it is Samsung. I have had nothing but good experiences with Samsung products.

ehh. 3d is a gimmick that will pass. $380 is a stretch for a 32 in my opinion.

??? standard HDTV's are 1080p, this is 1080p. To be 'twice the resolution' it'd basically have to be a 4K tv, which it isn't, because no one makes them.

We got the 40" for each other for Christmas. It is outstanding. If I needed another TV I'd go for this.

As someone who like movies, what's the Contrast ratio?
VESA mount?

I don't know about other buyers, but I never buy a TV/monitor without that information...

The brazilian walmart site lists the response time at 6ms and 3 million to 1 contract ratio.

My computer video card has HDMI output. So I don't think its missing "PC input" for most graphic card these days have HDMI output - even my $200 netbook has one

No. This is not a "Smart" TV.

Also, no, it doesn't have a VGA input.However, with video cards being so cheap nowadays, it easy to get one that has HDMI output.

Majority of PC's already in the home do not have HDMI out so people care.

If you don't care about 3D gimmick this TV is 10 dollars cheaper, two year warranty and ability to return.

I really love my 40" version of this SmartTV. Apps, internet browsing and video games rock. There was one dead pixel though. Can't wait to have this in my bedroom

Can be used as a giant computer monitor since it supports 1920 x 1080 as long as you have HDMI.

2011 versions of samsung screens hold their own against 2013 models from other brands!

Awesome deal , just brought one

I feel stupid for this, but would this monitor work well as a gaming monitor? I'm interested in 1920x1080 @120hz refresh (not 3d, just super smooth motion while gaming).

The video card I'm using is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti which advertises 3d. Will the 3d work with this monitor? Can I get 120hz in non-3d?

I Google reviews of this set and all I get are sites in India and other foreign countries. Will it work normally in the U.S. and how about getting extra glasses or service?

Thunder (or anybody else at WOOT), if I wanted to order this but delay shipping so that I could receive it at a later date, could I do that? Would WOOT honor that request?

only two HDMI ports? No thank you. You really need three. One for your cable box, one for blu-ray/DVD player and one for your computer or XBox/PS 3. Even cheap Seiki TVs from Sears & Kmart have 3 HDMI ports. I'll pass on this one.

Honestly the quality Samsung brings over other brands when it comes to picture is more important to me than how many ports it has.

Honestly though I still don't get the point in blu ray. You can get HD from streaming and cable at this point so it feels kind of pointless to me.

I see the guarantee is through Woot. If these are new tvs, why wouldn't Samsung honor the guarantee? What is it, someone stole a truckload of these in Mumbai and sent them to you to sell? If I bought this, and ten months from now it broke, and you had no others, what would you do to make it right? Sorry, but I once had a lot of trouble with another brand tv (Westinghouse) which dragged on for months, and had to threaten them with legal action to get them to send a rebuilt set..Cheers!

I seem to have missed whether the glasses that come with it are active or passive. OR, is 3d on this TV active or passive?

And why don't they say in the specs or general description?

OR did I indeed miss it?

Does anyone who owns a 3D tv regularly use that feature? Just wondering? I rarely watch TV at all these days, so putting on glasses seems like a burden. On the other hand I can see 3D being big with children.
